It was the first day of summer, Max woke up to nothing.

She didn't hear her mother and step father fighting, she didn't hear Billy's music blaring throughout the walls of the house she called home.

Her mind taking over wondering where they had gone and why they left her at home.

She heard her phone buzz a text, She then realized who messaged 'Wheeler' she questioned.

Wheeler🙄: come to my house now.

Maxine👹: why do I have to come over, you don't even like me.

Wheeler 🙄: just come, please.

Maxine 👹: fine. I'll be there soon.

Max got changed and walked downstairs to slip on her vans and grab her skateboard, she started skating down the street. After a few minutes she reached Mike's house to see him sitting on his lawn crying. "Hi" she spoke softly as she walked over to him sat down. "Hey" "Mike what happened."

"El, she broke up with me."

All of sudden Max pulled Mike into a hug.
