It's now a week later and although my hands are almost just bone from all the harsh chemicals and perfumes - the apartment is clean. Dang near took everything I have but here we are. I smile at my accomplishment as I look around the newly cleaned space. Everything shines ever so gently in the cool morning air. Windows are open allowing the slight breeze to enter, mix, and calmly leave back out. A candle is lit, as one is never truly finished cleaning until so, and it allows the aroma of the rolling ocean to enter my clean little apartment.
I lay back on the new couch that arrived yesterday. The cool feel of cotton from the fluffy cushions relaxes me almost as much as the faux fur carpet under my bare feet. I'm finally settling in.
