"You're weirdly good at this?" I say squinting my eyes

"I've watched survivor enough times to know the basics" she says

"Lauren... you've built a whole bed out of bamboo" I say

"Yeah so?" She says

"Yeah so, It's kind of incredible" I laugh

"Thanks" She says a little confused

"Are you almost done?" I say

"Yeah I think so" she says

"Great!" I say laying on the bed. "Now you can get started on mine"

"Ha think again" she says

"What?" I say

"I'm tired, and we still have to find something to eat" she says

"But where am I supposed to sleep?" I say

"The bed is big enough for two" she says

"..No way am I sleeping with you" I say

"Ok then I'm sure the sand is comfortable" she laughs

"Lauren?!" I say

"What?!" She laughs. "I'll make you one tomorrow if it's that big a deal"

"...Thank you" I pout

"Whatever" She laughs

Drew POV

"Can I see that shiner again son?" The officer says walking towards us

"Why?" I ask

"That's not you're concern" the officer says

"It's my face so yeah it is" I say

"Drew just comply wtf" Kris says

"Whatever, I just think this is stupid" I say

"Of course you do" Marcos smirks

"Thank you" the officer says after swabbing Drew's face and placing the swab in a bag

"Got what you need? Or do you also want a swab of my ass too" I say

"You need to calm down son" the officer says as he takes the bag back

"Wtf Drew?" Kris says

"What?" I say. "He's not treating anyone else here like he's treating me!"

"That's because you're giving him attitude " She says

"No it's because I'm the only white dude here and that's making me stand out" I say

"Umm... Wtf did you just say?" She says

"Bitch if you were brown acting the way you're acting your ass would be face first on the ground with a gun pointed at you" Marcos says

"Whatever, this is bull" I say

"It's getting dark are you sure you don't want a bite?" Lauren says

"Lauren. I'm not eating a fish you attacked and burned with that little flame" I say

"It's cooked I promise" she laughs

"I don't even know why you're acting like this" I say crossing my arms

"Like what?" She says

"Like this is an episode of survivor and we need to get comfortable, someone's gonna find us" I say

"Yeah but how long until they do Y/n?" She says

"I don't know, long enough for me to not die from starvation" I say

"We're stranded Y/n, get that through your head" she says

"Someone's coming for us, get that through your head" I say

"Keep on dreaming babe, we're stuck here and judging on the lack of visible land, it's probably gonna be a while " she says

"Whatever, I'm not eating that sardine ok" I say

"Fine, starve" she says

"Will do" I smile
