Bai Cong nodded his head when he received the answer. Xiong Wei. The name didn't have a significant meaning to him as he'd never heard it before, neither in his previous life of his current one. But there was a gut feeling he had that told him that he should know something about the boy.

Xiong Wei studied Bai Cong from top to bottom with narrowed eyes. A certain ability that he found he possessed was the ability to read people. It was not like reading people's minds, it was more along the lines of reading people's auras and emotions. This helped him figure out how a certain emperor has been lying to him ever since he had awakened.

But this time, he failed to read the silver-haired boy in front of him. A murderous glint flashed in Xiong Wei's eyes before it quickly disappeared. A person he couldn't read is a threat, he concluded. Xiong Wei thought for a moment and devised a plan to 'accidentally' kill the boy in the arena. Accidents happen all the time in spars and this could be considered a really tragic accident.

Not knowing that the boy in front of him was planning his murder, Bai Cong thought of a way to deal with the mysterious boy. Although it wasn't in his nature to kill without a cause, Bai Cong didn't like the feeling he was getting from the boy at all. It made him uncomfortable and, in his book, that was a good reason to make someone disappear.

The murderous intent that was sleeping dormant in Bai Cong's body sparked.

'I'll deal with him tomorrow,' Bai Cong thought to himself.

Both boys, each devising ways to kill the other, spent the rest of the dinner in silence.

The end of the feast concluded after a while and everyone started to retire to rest up for the next day.

Bai Cong regrouped with the rest of his family and followed them to the inn. When they reached the building, Bai Cong raised an eyebrow. It wasn't the biggest inn, in fact, it seemed quite small. The exterior of the inn was plain. If they didn't directly go to it, Bai Cong doubted he would have noticed the inconspicuous building among all the others.

Bai Gui noticed Bai Cong's questioning gaze and smiled, "Don't be fooled by how this inn looks," he said as he chuckled, "This is actually the most expensive and luxurious inn compared to all the others in this kingdom."

"Hmm," Bai Cong expressed his understanding and followed his family into the building.

The interior of the inn was extremely different than the outside. The walls looked as if it was lined with gold and the floor glimmered when the sun came in from the windows. There weren't very many chairs and tables placed in the hall but they still looked like they were well made. Behind the front desk was an old man with expensive looking robes.

Bai Gui walked up to the counter and took out a black card from his spatial ring. The man behind the desk took it and looked it over to make sure it was authentic. Seeing that it was, then man gave the card back to Bai Gui.

He then walked around the counter and led the Bai Family to their rooms. Bai Gui and Bai Ying Yu shared a room while the three brothers shared a room.

Bai Cong saw two big beds in the room and started to walk to one but was pushed aside.

"I want this bed!" Bai Chang yelled as he jumped on top of a bed, "You two can use the other one," Bai Chang claimed one bed for himself and left Bai Cong and Bai Chen to share the other one.

Bai Cong felt that it was beneath himself to argue with a little kid over a bed while Bai Chen didn't seem to care.

While his two brothers were getting settled, Bai Cong excused himself and went to find his father. He found him standing in front of a huge painting of a man holding a sword.
