I thought I could do this

Little did I know that
I was just convincing myself
I saw you today
Laughing with your friends
I felt a sudden change
Everything stopped
I couldn't breathe
I couldn't feel
I felt my heart
It was beating so fast
like a volcano
That was going to burst
I couldn't handle myself
Tears started running down
I wanted to stop them
But they were so stubborn
In their own little world
I ran towards the end
And closed my mouth
With a shaking hand
My body was on fire
I was losing control
With no one to turn to
