My mommy's appartment was right in front of me, I was so excited, but also extremely nervous: what if she didn't like me in real life, what if hurt me overtime, what if- subconsciously I heard myself ring the doorbell and I heard the voice I had dreamed about so many times,"just a minute hun" I got reenergized with excitement and tears sprung to my eyes, that was her that was my forever mommy. I waited in silent reverence, for what felt like an hour, but was really only about a second. Finally my mommy opened the door and when she saw me the biggest most loving smile I'd ever seen on anyone seemed to etch itself on her face, without a word she scooped me up and held me tight, both of us crying all the while, and I knew I was finally home.
