"mom! what can i wear for
the dinner?" i asked my mom
again, she keeps on answering
'honey you look good in everything'
which i don't believe.

"y/n, i told you a million times
now. you look good in everything
sweetie!" my mom answered
that answer again.

"you know what- i'm just gonna
wear this dress." i said as i pulled
out a dress from my closet.

i've never actually wore dresses
before, but i kinda want to
wear one today.

i went straight to the bathroom
and tried the dress on, if it doesn't
fit then i'll have to go with
something that isn't a dress.

and i'm suprised on what i saw,
it perfectly fits me and to be honest,
it looks pretty good on me. i've never
been this satisfied in myself
before, because whenever i would
wear a dress or a skirt i would
be like 'this doesn't suit me' but
this dress looks good on me.

i smiled as i saw my body on the
reflection of the mirror.
i put on the final touches on my
face, skin and everything else.

4:31 PM

finn is almost here and i have
never been this nervous
and scared in my whole
entire life.

me and finn aren't that close,
we can't even call ourselves
"friends" and i don't know why
finn would offer to give me
a ride, but i was an idiot to
accept it. the car would be
filled with awkwardness
on the whole ride and i can't
stand that, i might puke.

but atleast we'll spend some time
together and we might actually
be friends? i don't know.

mom entered in the same room
i was in, the living room and she
gasped when she saw me.

"wow y/n, a dress? that looks
amazing on you!" my mom
complimented and smiled at me.

i faked-smiled back at her and i
just nodded, i started to play with
my fingers.

"uh yeah! look at me wearing
a dress like- oh my god!" i sarcastically said
and faked a chuckle.

my mom giggled and walked
towards me.

"y/n, you don't need to wear
something irritating to satisfy
someone okay? you need to
satisfy yourself first." my mom
gave me an advice and kissed my
forehead.

"don't worry mom, i satisfied
myself too and i'm pretty happy
with this dress-" i said but i was cut
off with a loud honk coming from
outside our house.

the honk startled me and my mom
but we both laughed at each other
because we looked so stupid.

"oh! that must be finn." i stood up and fixed my dress, i put my shoulder
bag on my shoulder of course and
looked in the mirror if i was
all done with my face.

"finn? i didn't know you both were
so close!" my mom said and was
a little confused.

"we aren't mom, he just wants to
give me a ride that's all." i explained
and smiled at her.

"oh okay honey, bye! have fun." my
mom said and kissed my forehead
again.

i smiled at her and waved
goodbye as i walked away from
her and walked towards the front door to leave the house.

i opened the door and there was finn
waiting for me, he was standing infront of his car and he was
smiling uncontrollably.

i walked towards him and stopped
infront of him, and i smiled. he was
wearing a tuxedo and his curls
was fixed, it wasn't all around
messy in his face.

"woah y/n i- you look-
u-um- yo- you look stu- stunning."
finn complimented as he was
stuttering, and he gave me a smile.
a nervous smile, he was really
shaking and nervous.

"thank you finn, you look sharp!
it's nice to see your curls
fixed and to see your actual
face." i complimented and joked,
he chuckled and i just grinned on
the joke i made.

he opened the front car door for
me and i'm pretty sure he was
sweating inside of the tux he
was wearing because he looked
so nervous.

he closed the door softly yet loud
and sat on the driver's seat.
he took a deep breath and sighed.
he was shaking, he was nervous,
he might have an anxiety or panic
attack. i was terribly worried, i hold
his hand and rubbed it softly.

"finn, calm down. it's okay, just
breathe in, breathe out." i ordered
him to do and he did do it, he
breathed in and out repeatedly.

"what's wrong?" i asked him,
i was worried and scared for him.

"it-it's just, i've never gone out
an event without bodyguards."
he explained and his hand was
shaking uncontrollably.

"finn, it's okay. i'll be your
bodyguard today!" i joked and
chuckled. he giggled and started
to calm down.

"there we go, calm down." i
said and smiled at him.

he smiled at me too and his
lil' dimple came out, he looked at
me up and down and his eyes
then locked on my eyes.

those hazel brown eyes, it was
so pretty. it lasted for a few
seconds until finn broke the
eye contact and put on his seatbelt.

"well, you're ready?" he joyfully
asked and has his hands on the
steering wheel.

"aye aye captain!" i joked as i put
on my seatbelt too.

he smiled at me and started
to drive and the whole trip was
us making dark jokes and laughing,
laughing, laughing and all.
i didn't know talking
to finn alone would be
this nice and peaceful.

i thought i would be so
awkward because me and finn
aren't that close, we aren't
even friends. we haven't talked
that much on and off set, but it's
really really nice to talk to finn.
he made this night better.
