As I prayed so faithfully through the nights
With a glorious mighty prayer life
I escalated to unfamiliar heights
Until I woke up raptured into His saving light
I had a vision of love
I saw myself as a child of the king
I had a vision of love
I said, O death, where is thy sting
I had a vision of love
I saw Jesus die on the cross for you and for me
I had a vision of love
I said, O grave where is thy victory
I had a vision of love
That Jesus showed me how deep love can be
I had a vision of love
I saw myself caught up in the rapture of love's victory
