The moment I had seen the face of the King and my father, I had realized the reason why I had felt familiar with this world.

This world that I had reincarnated into was the world of a light novel that my former friend in past world had recommended to me. I read the novel way back when I was still a junior high school student.

It was a novel called 'Promise Of A Rose' and it even had a manga adaptation and even a game adaptation. Before I even died, there had been a rumor that it would have an anime adaptation as it was popular and was selling so much, throughout in Japan.

From what I can remember, it was your cliche reverse harem story, where the female protagonist attracts four gentlemen that will be fighting each other for her love. It had a pretty good plot that everyone loved. Even I had liked it but I never read it twice as I wasn't exactly into those types of books.

I can only remember the female protagonist which was a low ranked noble that was named Amelia Bloomsburg and the most popular within the four male protagonists which was the second prince of Rozelia (the kingdom I'm currently living in) whose name is Lancelot Augustine Rozelia.

And another person, which was the quite popular villain within the young girls that read the novel, Felicia Madelaide Pavell, which is me.

Now, I am currently in a crisis as I do not exactly know how the young years of the villain had gone and I wouldn't want to walk the steps that she had gone through within the novel.

"When the time comes your Majesty. I will be hoping that your offer is still available after two years." I answered him.

At that moment, the Duke and the Duchess had returned to the gardens, making me sigh in relief as my talk with the king will end with their presence.

I noticed that my mother was looking quite pale and unwell. I suspected that the Duke had said something about his other family. In the novel, Felicia was living with the Duke and her brother. Her birth mother had passed away, the novel had written. I do wonder what happened as it wasn't exactly explained.

My friend back then, told me that the game version explains more about the other characters' backgrounds especially the villains'. She had also mentioned about a secret character. I'm not exactly sure if this world was actually the novel version or the game version.

"Mother, you look pale." I stood up and approached her. I held her hand and I jolted a bit as it was cold and trembling. I looked at her worriedly as she gave me a shaky smile. I turned to look at General Walden who was with them. His face was stoic but the worry in his eyes was visible to me. As I have thought, the Duke had said something sensitive.

"Your Majesty." I called.

"Yes, Lady Felicia? Is there something that you wish from this old man?" He said.

"First of all, you don't look old your Majesty. Old man might not be the right word to address yourself. Second, may we please take our leave? My mother, the Duchess seems to be feeling unwell. I had mentioned that she had a weak constitution after my birth. I'm afraid she had pushed herself too far today." I said in a serious tone.

I avoided the gaze of the Duke and looked at the king who held an equally serious face as the expression that I held.

"It's alright. You may go. As it is my mistake to summon you and your mother, not knowing the current health state of the Duchess. Generals please escort them back to their carriage." The king ordered.

"We wish you good health and prosperity, our great ruler. Cassandra Faye Pavell and Felicia Madelaide Pavell will be excusing themselves from the present of The King and Duke Pavell." I said and mother and I curtsied in front of them.
