I can't believe it... we're done... I kept reading the note over and over. I really miss Rita. As I walked out of the waiting room from Ellen's studio I could see her and Rita talking. I looked over at both of them and then quickly looked away hoping Rita would not notice. Ellen wasn't with her anymore which was strange. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I didn't flinch or anything because Rita usually did that... "Rita...?"
"No it's Ellen."
"Hi..."
"What's wrong?"
"Rita is going to get a divorce..."
"WHAT?!"
I nodded.
"You guys looked so happy."
"I was. She wasn't... no idea why..."
"Here come with me."
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see. Close your eyes."
I obeyed. As Ellen was leading me somewhere I could hear sobs.
"She wants to talk to you. Open your eyes."
"Kitten?"
"Tyler..." she snapped.
"Bitch..."
"SEE?! THIS IS WHY!!! THIS RIGHT HERE!!!"
"What..."
"You!!!"
"Me??? What about me???"
"You have major anger issues that need fixed."
"You leaving me will only make this worse..."
"Well you have issues and I can't be with a man who gets angry at me for stupid stuff..."
"Oh I see how it is."
"At least they're talking." Ellen said.
"OH SAVE IT!!!" Rita and I snapped.
"What? I couldn't stand to see you sad. You both are amazing individuals. You guys just need a little break."
"We've tried breaks. But they don't work."
"Well how about you guys don't see each other for a few months."
"But... I love Rita."
"And I love you too but Ellen is right. I'll see you in a few months." Rita said walking away.
