3rd Person

One starry night, there were two mothers, side by side, holding hands, giving birth. "Push! Push!" The doctors yelled to the two women. The two women yell in unison, before giving one last push. Two cries were heard throughout the temple. "It's a boy." One doctors said to the tan woman. "It's a girl." The other doctor told the dark skinned woman. They both smile at their babies, then smiled at each other. "Well Akita? What are you gonna name him?" The dark skinned woman asked her friend. ".... Aang. I'm gonna name him Aang." Akita said, smiling. The dark woman smiled, and sighed. "How about yours?" "Hmm?" "Your baby. What's her name?" "Hmm.... me and Ketu decided on S-" "Kaiya!" She was interrupted by a young air nomad with dark shaggy hair, covering his tattoo. "Hey, honey." Kaiya said, greeting the out of breath Ketu. "W-What is it?" Ketu asked, sitting beside her on the bed. "It's a girl." Kaiya said, handing the baby to him. Ketu smiles nervously, and holds her. "She's so tiny."

Akita clears her throat and smirks. Ketu looks up and nervously smiles at his wifes friend. "H-hey Akita." "Hey Ketu. Now tell me what her name is." She demanded playfully. "Oh. Her name's Sora." As soon as she said her name, the babies eyes started to glow. Aang's eyes glowed a blue, while Sora's eyes glowed a milky white. The young children giggle, trying to grab the light from the air, but it stopped. Monks ran in the into the room, in a big jumble. "Gyatso? What's going on?" Ketu asked, handing Kaiya their daughter. "These two children are the Avatar and the Hogo-Sha." "The Hobo what?" Akita asked, extremely confused and concerned for the children. "The Hogo-Sha, also known as the Guardian." Ketu explained, running his hand through his hair, showing his hidden arrow tattoo. "That's right. We now have to decide whick monk take care of, and train them." The Monks set themselves aside, to talk about it. Akita then looked down at the smiling Aang and smiled sadly, while Kaiya did the same.

"So, you mean to tell me... we only have a little more time left with them?" Akita said sadly, as she examined her baby's face. "That usually how it goes, Kit." "I know Kai. It's just.... I didn't know that it would be right away." The Monks separated from their group huddle, and walked over to the parents. "We have found a Caretaker for the Avatar. But we have yet to find one for the Hogo-Sha." A monk explained. "I'll take her." Everyone turned to Ketu. "I'll take her. She is my daughter after all. Besides, I'm done with my training. I was already looking for a pupil to teach anyway." The monks looked at each other and nodded. "Very well." The Monk said, waking out. "Wait! Who's taking Aang?!" Akita yelled, startling the babies. Aang made a whining sound while Sora gave her a annoyed sound. "Sorry." She apologised. Aang smiled and went back to sleep, while Sora just grunted and fell back asleep. "My apologies. I'll be the one that'll take Aang. My name is Monk Gyatso. But please, just call me Gyatso." Gyasto said, smiling and the parents.

"And I'm sorry that this has to happen. If I was the one in charge, things would be different."

"It's alright Gyatso. At least our babies will be in safe hands."
