Ji Eun is stood in front of her mirror adding finishing touches to her make-up before she sighed. "Good enough."
She walked into the living room where her mom sat watching TV. "I'm heading out now."
"Okay, have fun sweetie."
With the answer from her mother she opened the houses front door and stepped into the moonlit night.
That night was Jimin's birthday party. She wasn't one of Ji Eun's super close friends but they were close enough that Ji Eun felt a bit of an obligation to attend the party. Thankfully it was a late party or Ji Eun probably would have found some excuse to not go. The fact that it was an after dark party meant that there would be alcohol. Ji Eun didn't have anything against drinking; she even drank a little herself. She just didn't completely see the appeal to getting totally wasted, as many at the party tonight would be doing. She wouldn't be drinking any alcohol that night though, because she had already been dubbed the designated driver for Seoyeon and Boyoung, which she didn't mind doing at all.
Ji Eun stepped up to her car and smiled up at the small crescent moon up in the sky then opened the door and stepped inside. She turned the radio up, buckled her seat belt, put the car in reverse, and then made her way to her friends' homes to take them to the party.

Hoseok shrugged his jacket on as he grabbed his keys and headed towards the door. He sighed lightly as he pulled the door open. "Just an hour Hoseok, that's all you've gotta be there." He said aloud to himself.
Hoseok had a birthday party of a close friend to attend tonight. The party wasn't a problem he actually was quite happy to be there for his friend, but he knew once there he would be alone drinking on the side because Yoongi would not be able to attend said party. Yoongi had work, of course. Hoseok was still attending because he knew his friend would appreciate his presence even if she saw him briefly that night. He planned to get one drink and then leave. He also had his own things to attend later that night, so he didn't plan to stay at the party for too long.
He smiled up at the bus driver as he stepped up into the bus. "Good evening." The driver only nodded in return. Hoseok just continued to smile and went to his seat so he could make his way to the party.

Ji Eun walked into the party with her friend's and they instantly ran to center of everything to say 'hello' to everyone that they knew. Ji Eun, on the other hand, stood back by the doorway and laughed at her friends antics. As she laughed she felt a hesitant hand tap her shoulder and she quickly looked over to find a male. He smiled sheepishly, "Sorry I need to get through and didn't want to push you when I passed by."
Ji Eun simply nodded and said a small, "Sorry." to him as she moved to the side.
He smiled brightly at her, "It's okay, thank you." Then he was gone lost in the crowd. Ji Eun felt a slight blush on her cheeks and ears from the embarrassment of the situation and instantly moved away from the door to avoid it happening again.
"Ji Eun!" Boyoung yelled out to Ji Eun to get her attention, rather obnoxiously in Ji Eun's opinion. Ji Eun rolled her eyes, but hesitantly made her way into the crowd toward her friends. "Hey, I know you aren't drinking tonight, but you could at least hang out with us." Boyoung laughed.
Ji Eun smiled. "I know I will, but I think I'm gonna go find Minnie."
"Okay, hurry back! We'll find Minnie later." Seoyeon smiled at Ji Eun.
Ji Eun walked away toward a bare area in the room and scanned the people in search of her friend, Jimin. After a couple minutes she spotted her across the room talking to someone. She sighed and made her way over toward her friend. When she reached her she stood to the side not wanting to interrupt her conversation. Jimin spotted her in the middle of a sentence and quickly finished it off and smiled brightly, "Ji Eun, you made it!" She gave her a great big hug.
"Of course I made it." Ji Eun laughed as she returned the hug. "Sorry to interrupt your conversation." Ji Eun gestured between Jimin and the boy she was speaking with.
"Oh, it's no worry." The boy smiled to Ji Eun. She gave a small smile back and looked back to her friend.
Ji Eun was about ask Jimin a question but Jimin spoke first. "I don't think you two have ever met!" She exclaimed. "Ji Eun this is my friend, Jung Hoseok. Hoseok this is Park Ji Eun." She smiled brightly.
Hoseok stuck his hand out and smiled at Ji Eun, "It's nice to meet you, Ji Eun."
Ji Eun smiled slightly, "Yeah, you too." She shook his hand.
"How long have you known Jimin?" he asked.
Ji Eun didn't have any desire to talk to this guy but she knew it would be rude to not answer so she looked over to Jimin, only to her no longer standing beside her. She looked back over to Hoseok. "I've known Minnie since our first year of college, so about 5 years maybe. I'm not really counting." Ji Eun laughed lightly. The boy nodded and Ji Eun stared at the floor for a moment before she remembered that it was socially correct to ask him in return how long he had known their mutual friend. So, she awkwardly asked, "And you? How long have you known Minnie?"
"Almost her whole life, our families are friends." He nodded and took a drink from the glass in his hand.
Ji Eun simply nodded and looked down to her feet again. She sighed and looked back up at the man before her and said, "Well it was nice meeting you. I'm going to get back to my friends now." She gave him a small wave.
"Yes, nice meeting you too. Have a nice night!" he smiled wide and waved back at her.
Hoseok finished off his drink and made his way back towards the door he'd been there about 30 minutes and he decided that that was probably enough time of being here. He had finished his drink already and Jimin knew he couldn't stay long. So, he made the walk back to the bus stop to get to his next destination for the night.
Ji Eun walked back up to Boyoung a couple minutes later after getting herself a Coke. "Hey, Ji Eun!" She slurred, obviously already a little tipsy. "Who was that hot guy you were talking to a couple minutes ago?" She wiggled her eyebrows at Ji Eun.
"What are you talking about?"
"When you were with Minnie, silly."
"Oh, his name was Hoseok, a family friend of Jimin's she introduced us." Ji Eun hadn't really thought about whether Hoseok was nice for the eye, she didn't really care, actually. Boyoung's comment did make her think about it though and she thought that maybe Boyoung wasn't wrong he was quite attractive, not that it mattered.
"Does that mean that Miss 'Boy's are no good. I need to repel them all.' is actually jumping back onto the boat and ready to go fishing?" Boyoung nudged Ji Eun.
Ji Eun rolled her eyes at Boyoung's dumb metaphor. "No it doesn't mean that, at all
