"I can't believe you've never gone ice skating before." Maya said as they walked into the bakery.
"I can't believe that girl ran over me." Lucas said as Amzie put her jacket on the chair.
"You fell in my way." Amzie said as she looked at her brother.
"What are you guys doing for Christmas?" Zay asked as Maya and Riley made hot chocolate for everyone.
"I'm spending Christmas Eve with Luke's family." Amzie said as she sat down.
"We're experiencing a temporary minor delay. Should be moving shortly." The attendant mumbled.
"Excuse me? Did you catch any of that?" Teddy asked as she looked at Jessie.
"Yeah, he said we're experiencing a temporary minor delay. Should be moving shortly." Jessie mumbled.
"I was hoping you knew what that meant." Teddy said.
"There is a temporary minor delay, but we're gonna be moving shortly." Jessie said.
"Well, that's good news." Teddy said before Zuri and Amzie looked at her.
"No, it's bad news." Zuri said as Amzie nodded.
"Why?"
"You're not from New York, are you?" Amzie asked.
"No. How'd you know?" Teddy asked with a chuckle.
"Because you don't speak subway. Temporary minor delay means we're not going anywhere for a long, long time." Amzie said as Jessie nodded.
"Should be moving shortly means I'm not kidding. A long, long time." Jessie said.
"—but if it's not true, then why would they say that?" Teddy asked as she looked around.
"Because he wants everyone to remain calm." Jessie said.
"Well, it's not working! This is not good. I need to get to NYU. This train needs to start moving now!" Teddy said after she stood up.
"If you click your heels three times, I'm sure we'll be on our way." Zuri said as Amzie chuckled.
"Hey, I have to get somewhere, too. I have a very important audition." Jessie said after she stood up.
"Yeah, the difference is she might actually get into NYU." Zuri said as Amzie nodded.
"I'm hoping you three know each other." Teddy said as she looked at the three.
"I'm Jessie. This is Zuri and Amzie. I'm her nanny and her fiancé's nanny." Jessie said as Amzie and Zuri nodded.
"—fiancé? Aren't you like sixteen or something?" Teddy asked as she looked at the blonde.
