I couldn't sleep being so mad at Dylan. Why wouldn't he just tell me this urgent issue?

After what felt like hours of sleeping on my own, cold side of the bed, I gave in and made my way towards him. He was just so irresistible, and I was so weak to him since he had marked me. I was greeted by his warm arms wrapping around my torso to hold me and finally I was able to sleep.

When I woke up we were in that same position.

"Good morning, little wolf." he purred against my neck.

I turned my head around to give him a light kiss. I didn't want to seem too eager, I wanted to at least show him I didn't agree with him even if my wolf made me forgive him so easily.

He got up and walked to the closet, his chiseled arms and stomach catching my attention like they always did. His hair was still messy, but it made him look even sexier.

"I'm going to take a shower." I said, hopping out of bed in nothing but his t-shirt.

"Mind if I join?" he asked, and I turned around to see him still undressed with a little smirk on his mouth.

"Fine." I chuckled.

Showers were always my safe place, there's nothing better than having warm water run down your nude body. It's relaxing and comforting, and it's also alone time to think.

How could I think when Dylan kept grabbing my ass?

I pushed his hand away and grabbed some shampoo, massaging it onto his head gently as he stared me down. His hair was soft and I loved to touch it, so I didn't mind washing it.

He didn't give up very easily though, and he pulled me into him by my butt once again, his hands feeling my body like they owned me as he started to make out with me.

I stopped him and whispered sensually against his soft lips.

"Tell me."

He put a finger up against my lips and continued feeling my body with the other hand, his cock growing more erect by the second.

I took his finger and put it in my mouth, gently sucking on it and tickling it with my tongue. I could tell it was driving him crazy.

"Just tell me." I said, moving his hand down to my chest.

"I can't do that, little mate." he said, feeling my breasts and moving his hands to my waist to pull me closer, his cock poking my stomach.

Hot water trickled down his defined abs and his hands gripped my hips so securely.

"Please?" I asked again, kneeling down in front of him. His eyes widened as he looked at me before him, my mouth lined up with his cock.

"Quincy, enough." he said, his hand running through my wet hair and eagerly nudging my head towards his member.

I licked the tip of his cock and slowly started sucking on the head, moving my way down to the shaft as he groaned and leaned his head back. I removed my mouth and tried one more time.

"Please just tell me Dylan." I said.

He put his hand back on my head and tried to get me to keep sucking him, but I kept eye contact and waited for an answer.

"It's not going to happen." he sighed.

"Fine." I stood up and swung open the glass door of the shower, grabbing my towel and storming out.

"Quincy, come on." he said irritatedly, walking after me, wrapping the towel around his waist.

"Why won't you just tell me? I'm your mate, you're supposed to be able to talk to me," I said, crossing my arms over my towel dress.

"It's not your concern, Quincy." he sighed and rolled his eyes, touching my arm.

I pushed his hand away quickly and earned a pissed off look from him, but I didn't care right now.

"I'm the Luna, of course it's my concern! Why is it such a big secret?" I felt my face getting hot and red. I was so frustrated and angry that he wouldn't tell me and I felt the tears start to form.

"Don't do this. Come back to the shower and finish what you started." he stated, his words leaving no room for argument.

"I'm done showering. And I'm not going to do anything else for you until you tell me whatever the big classified deal is." I humphed, turning around and looking for my clothes.

"I'm doing it for you, Quincy. You think you want to know but you don't. Now for the love of God, please come back and let me fuck you." he said, trying to remain calm.

"You don't give a shit, you just want me to come satisfy your blue balls you ass," I said, pulling a dress over my head.

"Watch your mouth," he demanded lowly.

I left the room, slammed the door and walked down the hall. To my surprise, Dylan didn't follow me.

I got in the elevator and went down to the middle floor and stormed past many wolves until I got to the control room.

"Can I speak to someone? A general, maybe?" I asked the guard.

"Sure, Luna." He opened the door and waved me in, and pointed at an office labeled "General Wasi".

I knocked on the door and a firm voice told me to come in. The man sitting behind the desk was large, almost as large as Dylan.

"I was just hoping I could speak to you about what happened yesterday, General." I forced a sweet smile.

"The attack? What about it, Luna?" he asked, continuing to type on his computer.

Attack?

Suddenly his computer made a loud beep like he got a message, and he narrowed his eyebrows to read it.

"I'm afraid you'll need to leave." he told me, ushering me out.

"Why? Did Dylan do this? Please tell me, I need to know." I begged as he pushed me out of the control room.

"Sorry," he said before shutting the door in front of me.

I was so furious I had to hold myself back from screaming in outrage. Why was it such a big deal? Now I was assuming the worst. All I knew was there was an attack of some sort. On who? Unclear.

I'd go find out for myself. I took the elevator to the first floor and formed a plan to get out and see if there were any bodies, any clues outside that could tell me what happened.

But when I tried to leave the building through the front doors, I was stopped. I looked to the woman at the desk beside it.

"The Alpha has asked we secure the doors. My apologies." she said.

I didn't know what to do. The emotions were so strong and I was having a difficult time handling them since Dylan had marked me. I felt him tugging me back to him using the bond, and I wanted to give in so badly, but I knew that if I did now then I would officially lose.

I ignored the mental pull from Dylan and went to the nearest bathroom.

If I couldn't run from him, then I'd hide.
