She just sat there,
While they called her insignificant,
It's not like anyone would care,
She knew the harshness want meant.
Being blamed for being hurt isn't fair,
Nor were the painful notes they sent.

And as the moon rose,
And the stars shone,
I pulled the covers to my chest

And as the tears escaped I told myself, this is all just a test...
