I wake up to the sound of my alarm and get ready for my 8:00am class. I take a shower and do my morning routine, I drape a towel around my body and pick an outfit for myself.

I tie my hair into a neat ponytail and pick my laptop. I set my things in the kitchen counter and open Annie's fridge to see what she has. Surprisingly the fridge is stocked with different types of groceries. I stick to scrambled eggs and toast. I leave hers in the microwave while I gobble mine. I brew two cups of coffee and leave a note that I'm out for class. I leave my car since the lecture I have is really close. I get to the hall and walk down to my journalism class. I don't know anyone from this class but that's okay. Too many friends are not even healthy, though the more the merrier, but I don't celebrate my trust.

I take a seat in the second row and take my books out. The lecturer comes in holding a stack of files. Announcement time.

"Goodmorming students" the old bald man greets to which we respond chorusly

"There's a benefactor who we wish to interview for our school's magazine, and we wish to send Ms. Theodetia Hamilton along with Justin Hyde to complete the interview"

Wait what?

"May we see them?" I get up along with a guy from the fifth row and we receive tags along with plane passes

Plane passes?

"You two will be going to Italy to interview him. Any information you need will be sent to you via Email. You're dismissed for the day" he says

I pack my things and leave the class. I get to the apartment and see Annie is awake.

"Ah. Sleeping beauty has finally decided to wake up"

"Please stop taunting, a girl needs her sleep"

I chuckle and place my things down and collapse on the sofa.

"Seems I have to travel."

"Why?"

"Apparently I do well in the journalism class I wanted to try so I have to travel, an asssingnment has been brought up for an interview so I'm going along with a classmate I didn't know existed until now"

I say and she chuckles

"Hey this is no laughing matter, the week has already been stressful and just when I thought I could relax, this comes"

"Poor you"

"Yeah, poor me"

"When are you leaving?"

"Dunno, waiting for them to email me"

"I'll take a nap"

"I can pack your stuff if you want" she offers

"No thanks. You've done enough, besides you have class, go get ready instead, I made you breakfast, is in the microwave" I say

"Thanks babe"

"Welkies" I yell and close my door shut

I call Brandon before I forget. The earlier the better

"Hey Don."

"How are you? Thought you'll never call"

"I have something to tell you"

"Are you okay?"

"Yep. But I've broken up with Gideon"

"Hey why"

"Well he's started acted like a jerk, and I don't have the heart for that, cheated on me, is part of a frat house and news flash is a junkie"

"I'm going to kill that fucker"

"Hey relax, I moved out and I'm living with a friend. I'm cool. The rest is his story to tell"

"Just stay safe"

"Will do. And I'm travelling to Italy for a school project so thought you should know"

"Okay"

"Please say hi to Beverly and stay low on the PDA" I tease

"Sure. But can't promise for the PDA" he chuckles and I feel the love in his voice. Their love is deep. Been through a lot but as strong as never before.

"I love you Brandon. Bye"

"Love you too princess. Bye"

And I hung up.

Now it's nap time

I'm woken up by the notification sound of my phone. I pick it up and see we'llbe leaving at 8:00pm tonight and it's 6:00pm now. Wow, I slept that long. We'll be flying first class, courtesy by Mr. Benefactor. The details of the interview are here, hotel lodge and everything.
But when I see his name, I jolt up from the bed
