I remember it like it was yesterday. My mom, Serilmoon, would always retell the story of how the universe was created before I went to bed. I had always found that story fascinating, especially when it involved me. I didn't know why then, and I still can't figure out why. Perhaps it is for you to find out. Here's what I understand.

In the beginning of time, there was nothing. No life, no light, no dark, no...anything. Then suddenly, a miracle happened. Atom, the embodiment of the Creator, fabricated planets, stars, dark matter, and basically, the entire universe. The planet I'm currently on is called Earth, named after the consciousness of the ground itself. But it didn't stop there - the Sun of our system, or aka, my dad (long story), fell in love with Earth's moon, my mom. Then, they had a child: Lumanite. And yep, that's me.
I was the embodiment of the dark sky. Therefore, wherever I went, there was only dark, silence and peace. Or maybe that could be my mom's influence, since that was also her power. I had never realised much of my own powers, because I rarely ever escape my mom's sphere of influence. A bright sky? I can never imagine. A world filled with noise, light and war? The hell is that?
My mom had actually described a place exactly like that, but warned me that it is forbidden to any of us dark dwellers. Especially me. It was a land of monsters, dangers and certain death. I'm not one to take risks, so of course, I stayed out of it, and only resided inside my mom's sphere of influence.
What about my dad? Well, he dumped my mom. There was no better way to say it. See, when I was ten years old, just a little boy, oblivious to the wonders and horrors the world held, my dad for some weird reason slowly became distant and harsh towards me. I didn't know why, and I was too afraid to ask, even my mom. The conversation was eavesdropped, so I wasn't too clear on the details, but one thing was certain: dad wanted me dead. The next thing I knew, however, dad left to the land of monsters and never returned.
Back then, the sky was always beautiful shades of pink, purple and orange. It was so breathtaking that I still remember it till this day - oh how I yearn to see it again. But ever since he was gone, the sky turned dark and starry, like the skies I witness nowadays. It hadn't changed since then. For five hundred years.
