Chapter 86

"Hey, you should stop being sad now, she is the one who has lost you." I try to comfort Zayn who is still sad about his ex.

"Still, I loved her so much." Zayn says in the most heartbroken tone that I have ever heard him used. I immediately feel an immense pain in my chest seeing him in this condition.

"I'm always here for you." I state and he nods reliefly in response.

"Anyways, I better go for my next class, see you later, beautiful." he says and I wave at him.

I make my way towards my next class, which is English. Nobody seems to be here yet except Liam. Immediately I recall his sister. I feel uneasy now. However, I make my way next to him and I can notice that he is also looking at me with a strange look.

"Hi, Liam." I greet, trying to sound casual.

"Hey." he says.

"You're early today." I try to start a conversation.

"Yeah, I needed to talk to you." he says while breathing hard.

"Yeah? What is it?" I ask, while I start tensing up.

"Please, don't talk about my sister with Stones." he says and immediately guiltiness overcomes me.

"Because, he will probably lie to you or even fight with you." he says.

"He killed my sister." Liam says.

"No, he didn't." I state upsetly and Liam looks at me with wide eyes.

"Has he already told you, then?" Liam asks.

"Well, act-ually, h-he d-did." I say.

"Bullshit! He is a liar." Liam says, angrily.

"No! Please Liam, don't accuse him." I say.

"What? Are you serious right now??" he asks, "How can you side with him? He freaking killed my sister, Scarlette!" he yells.

"No, it wasn't his fault, Liam. He didn't-" He interrupts me as he says,

"Enough, I can't believe you right now! I thought you were my closest friend, but guess I was wrong!" he says fuming with anger. It's the first time that I have ever seen him this angry.

"Liam- No.." I try to talk to him,

"No need to say anything more! You're becoming like him too!" he says,

"Liam, please don't be angry." I say as I start panicking with fear.

"Scarlette, just shut up." he says and goes out of the class.

I... I don't have words to say right now. I never thought Liam would be this angry with me. It was very painful the way he talked to me. I know he lost his sister but it wasn't a nice way of talking like this to me.

"Hey, move bitch." a high pitchy voice says from behind and I turn to find Jessica looking at me with a smirk. However, I completely ignore her.

"Didn't you hear me??" she exclaims angrily while putting her left foot on my chair's cornor as she bends over to be to the same level as me. While doing so, she manages to dirty my black jeans.

"Hey you! Who do you think you are?" I snap angrily as I stand up to clean the dirt.

"Bitch, it's my territory here and you're not fucking welcomed." she says as she stands up as well and removing her foot from the chair.

"Listen! I am not FUCKING scared of you." I say angrily as I start walking away from her.

"Scarlette, leave her, NOW." Zac groans.

"Let me go!" I snap again.

"Let's go." he says while pulling me away and I finally give up as I stand. I look around to find a big crowd formed around me and Jessica. Everyone is looking at us with wide eyes as some are whispering among themselves.

"You're fucking bleeding!" Zac says as he runs his hand on my arms to where Jessica's nails hurt me.

"Oh my god! Are you okay??!" A dramatic Isabella comes running and sits next to Jessica.

"I'm going to kill that bitch!" Jessica says from behind as she gets up. Her face is ruined as her nose is bleeding. Her make-up is ruined and is looking at me with such anger. We make eye contact as we look at each other with pure hatred.

"You two, in my office, right now!" An angry principal says from behind and he bursts out of the classroom.
