Nari was born in Los Angeles with a Korean-American mother and father. She has 1 older sister named Solji, who owns a restaurant in America and a younger brother named Ewan that is currently in the 6th grade

Nari was 13, Solji was 17, and Ewan was only a new born the family of 5 soon moved to Seoul in Korea from Los Angeles.

In 2009 a month after Nari's birthday, her parents divorced due to an unknown reason. That caused Nari and her mother to move out while her father took custody of Ewan and Solji.

It took a while for Nari to understand why she couldn't see her siblings all the time anymore, but she had more confusion on the fact of why her mom would spend time on the phone talking to god knows who.

And later that year, Solji was with Solji all the time. And Nari learned from her exactly why they couldn't see Ewan anymore. Her father, jaebeom had recieved full custody of him.

But then Solji went to Canada to study with her mother's permission. But Christmas break arrived, the father invited the girls and their mom to his wedding with a woman named Hani. Being respectful as possible, they all attended the wedding.

While there, the father announced a new baby boy on the way.

When the baby boy came, the father named it Junseok and gave him the title of Solji and Nari's step-brother.

When Solji went back to Canada, their mother got remarried to a Korean-Thai doctor and later on took the surname Choi after previously having their mother's maiden name Kim.

Nari had gained many hobbies after her mother getting remarried. In highschool she became a very intelligent girl, owning the title of the first student in her class to get the IQ of 158 that year.

She later went on to taking a liking to geometry and art but decided on learning how to play instruments. Then going on to wanting to become a singer.

Her liking to singing was first recognized by her step-father Jaejoon then told to her mother Stephanie.

And later on in 2013  Nari took on the career of a Korean idol, debuting with 7 other boys at age 18. Nari wasn't shy at all, she became like family with them within time.

It was a matchmaking process. These two had no interests in eachother until the two groups began hanging out with each other.

Though the members teased them, nobody would have thought that these two would end up to be secretly dating.

In September 2017, Nari ended up telling Hobi and Yoongi about the relationship who said they wouldn't tell, but in October they thought it would be ok to tell Jin.

But unfortunately for the couple, Jin told the company and the two were sadly broken up before things got crazy.
