Ximen held my hand as we sat in the garden. Lei and Kass had Si and Lei for the night so we could be alone. Today marks the fifth anniversary of your death, Daoming Si.
Ximen spoke as he squeezed my hand, causing me to look at him. He didn't have his glasses on, "I know you miss him." He then looked me straight in the eyes.
"Yeah, I do.." I sighed and I leaned on Ximen's shoulder, "But you know what?"
"Hmm?" Ximen smiled at me.
I then leaned closer to him and bit my lip, "This is our Once-In-A-Lifetime. Let's not miss it."
He smiled as I leaned in and kissed him. He automatically kissed me back.
We were too caught up in the moment to see the meteors over our heads. There were many of them and they surfed through the sky that was over our garden.
The meteor necklace on my neck shone brighter than ever.
