Chapter Forty: Hidden World

'Slow down! Stop dammit!' Zio roared out. The male hissed before throwing his hands up. The Irinaut looked around before hitting the top of the vehicle with his hand.

Luna heard Zio. The hybrid looked at Strong, "Strong, stop the vehicle. Zio said to stop."

Strong grinned as he slammed the brakes. Zio and Fex were thrown forward against the turret on the top where they stood. Luna's eyes widened as she watched the two nearly slide off on the top, but both recovered from what Luna saw on the camera.

Luna shoved against Strong's shoulder, "If you get them killed, then I sure as hell won't help you with any of this! Watch what you're doing!" Luna tensed, suddenly feeling, strange. She brought her hand up and held her head. That ringing noise, what was it?

Strong and instantly reacted; grabbing ahold of her wrist and ya ked forward. "Touch me again, and I'll blow your fucking head off."

"Strong!"

'We've come up to the entrance to one of the caves.' Fex and Zio had both fallen silent. The alpha's both seemed to be acting odd as Luna was. Zio's eyes had become thin slits as did Fex's.

Luna felt strange to say the least. Her heart was racing. Even as Strong had yanked her forward, she couldn't hear him over the other noises that ran through her head. These one's, she couldn't understand, but when she heard Zio speak, the queen came to, "I-I'm sorry, Zio and Fex, they said we're here."

"Here? I don't see shit." Strong shook his head. The windows in the front gave a full view around the planet. Truly, the world was nothing but craters. The world looked as if life wouldn't live out there in the night, but the florescent red moon gave the world a eerie look, "We've been driving for four hours and nothing."

Luna felt as if something was watching her as closely as Strong in the ship, but she said nothing more of it and spoke with Fex and Zio, "Fex, Zio! Where is it?"

Fex and Zio jumped off the front of the Panel. The two Irinaut's began to walk forward. The alpha's looked at one another before cocking their heads. They turned and looked at the truck. The alpha's suddenly jumped and landed down harshly, 'Better hold on to something.'

"Hold on?" Luna tilted her head to the side, but as everyone was hushed, a noise could be heard. The ground beneath them was shaking. Zio and Fex moved quickly and jumped to the top of the Panel. Fex's Yeti's followed. Around them, the dusted rock bursted with air before suddenly, descending rapidly and a fastened speed.

Luna clung to a handle in the room; screaming out as she felt the gravity pulling them rapidly to what must of been nowhere. Below them, was black. Alarms were going off, warning of the sudden drop. The only light that been from above was the red of their moon. Luna had tensed up. Being terrified at this point was a definite. Wherever they were being led, it was dark.

'Relax Luna. This isn't so bad.'

Luna heard Zio reassuring her, but how could she reply? As she watched the Panel become consumed with darkness, her breathing became rapid. She shut her eyes tightly before pressing her face to her arm, but after a moment, the screams had gone silent. Luna thought she had shut out everyone, but when she felt the everything slow down, she opened her eyes.

To her amazement, below the mile of clouds and storm, another world was enveloped. The rocks, seemed to be easily pulled down once it was just slightly off orbit, but once below the clouds, the object had slowed down significantly. Simply flowing down and dancing slowly now before settling inside what seemed to be a large indent into the ground that fit the rock perfected. Below, the world was lush green. Trees that glowed had blackened, and the leaves let off a yellow glow. It gave the world light.

Zio and Fex jumped off the top and looked around. The two had started letting off their own glows. Zio's black veins had began to glow a deep blue. Fex, had his own red glow to his. The male's fins had even been given this strange glow as well. They looked towards the Panel. Both cocked their heads to the sides and waved at Strong. It seemed they were both satisfied with the scare they had induced for the Captain.

"Now what, boys?" Captain Strong spoke over the intercom to them. He had driven off the rock, which soon shot back in the sky slowly, but soon, seemed to be sucked into the black vortex above. Around them, the lights glowed in yellows and vibrant blues. Some plants even emitted off a purple hue.

'We walk. Get out of there.' Fex gestured for them to get out of the Panel, 'That thing won't make it through the swamps.' Fex cocked his head to the side, 'Luna, are you alright?'

Luna was looking out at the world. The sky was black, but below the world was full of light! It was no wonder the Irinaut's hadn't been discovered until now. They had a world hidden beneath the rock, and it was stunning to her, 'Fex says we have to walk, Strong. This is as far as you can take the Panel." Luna seemed nervous about going out there. If other Irinaut's lurked, it was hard to tell what they would say to any of them. Especially with Luna being a Queen descendent.

"Then we'll walk."
