*Pretend Tracey and Graham have gone away on holiday for a while*

Dianne's POV

As we were all sat on the beach, I decided to go on a walk, I told Joe to stay where he was, and that I would be fine, it was currently 4 pm, so I had a few hours before we had to go back to the house, as I walked down the path near an old house next to the park, I saw jet black clouds come over me, the wind suddenly picked up, it was getting stronger, in the distance I saw a

twister. shit.

I called Joe luckily after 2 rings he picked up

'Di, you okay?'

'Joe get everyone back to the house, i'll try and be back soon, but there is a twister, cyclone whatever you want to call it, it's heading this way, I love you Joe'

'Di, stay safe, please'

'I will, I love you Joe'

'I love you Too Di'

I ended the call, it was getting closer and closer and it was picking up, Fast.

Down by the beach they had some time but not long, I tried to run but it was no use, the wind was too strong, the closest thing to safety was, the old house, I ran towards it, the cyclone was heading this way, I ran through the house, and I ran to the nearest room with a bed so I could lye underneath it, suddenly I heard the window bash open, I screamed through the shock,

I climbed under the bed, I could feel my heart in my throat and my blood rushing I just hope that Joe and everyone is safe,

Joe's POV

After Dianne's call, we all rushed home, I tried to call Dianne but I had no luck, the line must be cut, Emma had luckily fallen asleep as Alfie was rocking her to sleep,

'Where's Dianne?' Zoe said

'I..i don't know she called me saying she would make her way back, but it was heading her way, i'm shit scared Zo, what if she has gotten hurt'

'It's Dianne, the girl who ran into a burning building, who almost got shot, she's brave, I'm sure she'll cope, to her this is nothing' encouraged Zoe

'But what if she ends up dead, Zo, what will happen then, I don't want her hurt'

'Neither do I Joe, but she won't be dead, she has brains, she'll use them'

'Zoe?'

'Yes'

'How come your not panicking?'

'I don't know, deep down i'm shit scared, but I think having Emma has made me brave, I have to be brave for her, just like you have to be for Dianne, please stay strong Joe'

'I'll try, Zoe, but i'm scared'

'I am too Joe, but please try'

I just nodded and walked into the kitchen, and I was sat down I saw the twister heading our way,it was growing bigger the closer it came, I ran into the living room,

'Alf, I need your help, there should be some wooden panels outside bring them in, i'll grab the blanket and other things, Zoe stay in here with Emma and hold her close, okay'

I ran upstairs and grabbed the blankets, all of them, I ran into the cupboard and grabbed the screws and nails and a screw driver and a hammer and layed them at alfies feet, he was putting the wooden boards up by the window, so we wouldn't be hurt, Zoe lay Emma down so she could help me put up the other board around the house, we slotted them in and hammered in a few nails, once they were all in, I looked out of one of the smallest windows in the front to see the twister, we didn't have long until it would hit our house, I tried calling Dianne again but there was no hope

I hope she's safe

Dianne's POV

As I was under the bed, I could here the howling of the twister outside, I felt like I was in the wizard of Oz, I held on to the necklace around my neck, as I looked at it, it was the symbol of love

Suddenly there was a crash, and all I saw was black

Joe's POV

As we were all sat down, my mind was on Dianne and I she was safe, I wanted to run out and find her but I knew if I got hurt, it meant I couldn't protect her, and that is what I want to do I want to be able to protect her, as I looked at Zoe, Alfie and Emma I saw they were all asleep, As I slowly stood up, I got head rush, so I sat back down, I slowly fell asleep, my last thought was on Dianne
