Ch 3: No failure!

Asta ran towards Noelle making sure she was okay

When he saw the sight of her injuries it made him even more mad that he didn't stop it

"I'm o-okay Asta" Noelle said barely being able to say it out loud

Asta ran towards her but she passed out almost instantly from the pain the last thing the saw being Asta runnning towards her

~Few hours later~

Noelle woke up and saw she was on a bed? But it wasn't any place she recognized

Next to her she saw Asta on a chair sleeping

She laughed to herself to believe just this morning it was the exact opposite

Now that I think about it he looks kind of cute sleeping she thought making herself blush

She wanted to wake him up and figure out where she was but after all he's done and after how she did nothing she couldn't believe she called herself royalty

"My siblings might be right I'm nothing but a failure" she muttered

"Stop doing this to yourself so what if your siblings think your a failure you have some of the strongest magic I've seen" said Asta waking up

"Asta! Sorry did I wake you" said Noelle before getting hugged by Asta

"W-what are you doing?!?" She said confused why Asta was hugging her at a time like this

"If it wasn't for you in our very first mission all those villagers would've been dead" you're strong really strong so what if you don't have control train and it will come naturally

She hugged him back letting out small tears

"Thank you" She said think about how even though Asta isn't a noble was strong one of the strongest people she encountered. And for him to say something like that to her felt right like he was always watching out for her

"You know that's twice you hugged me better not get
used to it StupidAsta" She said "And Thank you for saving me"

"Hmm he's not responding" suddenly Asta dropped the two of them unto the bed he apparently fell back asleep

Noelle's face was blushed so hard that you'd probably think she was sick if not something worse

"What the hell is he doing" she wondered Yes Asta hugged her before "but sleeping on the same bed that something only people who are d-d-dating or even worse married would do" she quietly said

It's not like she hated Asta but her a noble and him a commoner just couldn't be. But he is going t be the wizard king she thought that means he would have the qualifications to date her

What was she thinking her dating Asta. Yes he's a strong dependable guy but to date him would be something different

Suddenly the door opened and girl in nun clothing came through

"It's not what it looks like" she yelled

"Would you look at that Asta found himself a nice girl indeed " She said "

"Wait you know him" Noelle wondered still blushed

"Of course I do I'm Lily by the way and I took care of him since he was a kid" Explained Lily
