Savannah's POV

*after school*

"Well, see you in the morning" Colby says I nodded and waved bye I walked to my aunts car and got in

"Who's he?" She smirked I just shook my head, I don't know how to tell grandpa I have detention in the morning. "You okay?" She asked starting to drive I just nodded "you sure?" She asked "Marissa, have you ever had Saturday detention? And how did you tell grandpa?" I ask "want me to cover for you?" She asked I nodded a little "Okay, I'll just say we're having a girls day" I smiled "thank you" I say "no problem, I know how it is, what'd you do?" She asked "I let Colby cheat off my paper" I say "who's he?" She asked

"My friend" I say I felt my face heating up a little from talking about him "do you have a crush on him?" She smirked I shrugged "we've only known each other 2 days." I laugh "so, me and Dani knew each other for 2 days and started dating and now look at us" she says "but I- I don't know, I want something real I guess and I wanna know he's totally down for only me" I say she nodded

I got home

I got a text

'Colby🖤'

I clicked it fast

Colby: I'm sorry for getting you in detention

Me: awe, that's okay... it doesn't bother me, more time I get to spend with you.
And Sam of course haha

Colby: yeah true, what are gunna tell your grandpa?

Me: I'm not

Colby: do you're skipping or?

Me: absolutely not. I'm having my aunt cover for me :))

Colby: ha, you must be lucky.

Me: she might be able to cover for you too :)

Colby: what? How?

Me: just tell your mom and dad that you're going to the mall, if your house isn't far you can walk here before detention and then boom.

Colby: no, that's okay thanks anyways

Me: eh, I tried

Colby: why are you nice to us? We aren't anything special ha

If he only knew...

Me: you're my new best friends. Without you guys I'd be alone.

Colby: glad I'm helping :)

Me: me too :)

I went to Allison's cheer stuff then back home. By now it was pretty late so I decided to go to bed

*next day*

I got dressed and we left

"Thanks again" I say "no problem. What time do you need me here by?" She asked "4" I replied

"Okay, see you then" she says, I shut the door and walked into the school

I walked into the library along with a brown haired boy I'd never seen, Colby and Sam... I sat down in the main back not wanting to get more in trouble

"Pssst" Colby says and pats the seat next to him, I walked up there and sat beside him "what?" I ask noticing the teacher wasn't even there yet "how's it goin?" He asked smiling "it's nothing new..." I say rolling my eyes the teacher came in and began to tell us to do an assignment and set quietly until it was done.

We did the assignment, then Colby and Sam started talking. The other boy joined in as well I looked at the clock '2:34pm' I rolled my eyes and slouched in my chair, I put my hood up and tightened the strings

"So, You're the new girl right?" I hear that one boy say I took off my hood and nodded, fixing my hair slightly "I'm Jake..." he says holding out his hand for me to shake it I shook it politely

"So I hear you got a crush" he says to Colby "shh, dude. Shut up" Colby says "who is it?" Jake asked "no one..." he says shyly "why don't we just like, play truth or dare or something?" Jake asked "ya know, to pass time" he says we agreed and got in a circle on the floor

"Savannah... truth or dare?" Jake asked "um, truth for now" I say "is it true that you like someone right now?" He asked smirking "yes. Colby truth or dare" I say "um, dare" he says hesitating a bit "I dare you to go... steal the trophy up there" I say pointing to the book shelf he got up and jumped grabbing it "I'm putting it back" he laughed putting it back up

We went on and on then we got ready to leave. It was 4pm.

"Hey, I had a really good time with you, today... and the other days" Colby says as we walk out of the school together "you too Colbs" I say "Colbs?" He smirked "Colbs." I say laughing I saw my aunt pulling up "your aunt drives a BMW?" He aksed wide eyed "don't bring it up" I say begging him he nodded "anyway, I know we only met 3 days ago but uh.." he says but stops and just stared at me "but what?" I laugh "it's been the best 3 days of my life, do- uh, you think... we can skip the last day together?" He asked I smiled "as much as I'd love to... we probably, should" I smile at the last word he does as well "cool can't wait. See you Monday, lookin forward to skipping with you" he says "me too Colbs. See ya" I say waving to him as I got in my aunts car we drove off

"What was that about?" My aunt asked "oh, nothing" I say "didn't look like 'nothing'" he says "it wasn't anything. I'm serious" I say laughing

She playfully rolled her eyes and then kept driving home.

I made it home safe and then got a text

Colby: hey

Me: hi :)

Colby: I can't wait for Monday, got anything planned?

Me: just exploring I guess

Colby: that's what I'm best at haha, btw you looked really pretty today again :)

Me: thanks :)) you looked good too haha

Colby: thanks, so I was wondering..

Me: what?

Colby: would you maybe wanna idk, do some cool stuff when we're skipping? 

Me: what do you have in mind Brock?

Colby: well Jake said we could go to his place

Me: he seems nice so ig so, but we have to be back on school property by 3

Colby: got it :)

Me: :)

*that night*

Colby and I have done nothing but text.

Colby: how's life been?

Me: okay ig.. wbu?

Ugh he's bored with the conversation.

Colby: actually, my parents are fighting right now :(

Me: awe Colbs, I'm sorry :((

Colby: can I be honest with you??

Me: of course

Colby: I really really wanna run away but I have no where to go.

Me: come here. I'll just tell them I wanna go onto the rooftop, meet me up there

Colby: uh, where do you live?

Me: ** **** ******* **

Colby: holy fucking hell your house is giant.

Me: please don't tell people that. I don't want them to know I have money :/

Colby: I won't :)

Me: can't wait to see you, hurry
