Erik's P.O.V.
People think she's going to be pregnant after this week is over. Does she want to be pregnant? Does she not want to be pregnant? Does she not want people thinking that we would do something like that? What if she doesn't love me as much as I love her? What if it's not the same kind of love?
"Are you okay?" She asks me with her forehead leaning against the passenger door frame. She looks worried.
"What?" I ask confused.
"I asked if you were going to come inside with me or just going to sit out here?" She asked, smiling at me.
"Do you want me to go inside with you?" I asked her, still not unbuckling my seatbelt.
"Like duh," she laughed.
I unbuckled my seatbelt and got out.
"Are you sure you're okay?" She asked me. "Did I do something wrong?"
I shake my head at her. "No you're fine."
I don't think she believes me.
I walk up the stairs to her bedroom and wait for her, laying on her bed.
When she walks in, I decide to just come out and ask. "Are you embarrassed about us? About us being a thing?"
She furrows her eyebrows at me. "No. Never. We've been together almost seven months now; why would I ever think that?"
I shrug. "You seemed upset when you realized how many people thought I'm going to get you pregnant. I mean, we're still teenagers. We're not married. I don't think either of us are financially ready either. And, you know I'd never hurt you right?"
She looks at me and nods, biting her lip.
"Yes what?" I ask impatiently, not knowing if she meant 'yes' I'm embarrassed of us.
"Yes. I know you'd never hurt me: purposely."
"You're not embarrassed about us?"
"No," she whispers.
I sigh. "I love you. You know that right?"
"Yes Erik, I know. And I love you too."
She leans into me and I hold her like I'm loosing her. I don't want to lose her. Not now. Not ever. And not just because of what other people say.
