It's been a whole week since the toxin has spread all over the world
Sonic, amy, tails, shadow, silver, knuckles, rouge, and blaze were staying in the underground base
Shadow: We can't keep going on like this
Knuckles: What do you mean by that?
Shadow: We are about to run out of food here
Tails: We only have two days of food left and that is including for all of us combined
Sonic: So It seems like some of us must go out and look for some food resources
Shadow: But there is one problem we have to deal with though
Tails: What could that possibly be?
Shadow: We have nothing to defend ourselves with, out there are dead corpses walking around and I'm not trying to die
Knuckles: Well I have some weapons we could use
Amy: What are you guys talking about...
Sonic: We must go out there and get more food and maybe find somewhere better to stay
Tails: Sonic I already told you that the base is fine..
Amy: Sonic you are staying
Sonic: Huh?
Shadow: Amy.. I know that you have seen things that are things that we don't see everyday..
Amy: See everyday.. watching a man getting ate alive is something I'm afraid of seeing everyday. This is going to be our future, watching all of those things eat everyone left in this world..
Sonic: Amy that's enough.. we all have to do our part, I'm the fastest thing alive. Knuckles should be the one everyone has to worried about. Shadow is the second fastest and silver fly, knuckle only got strength. So stop worry about me, I'm cable of taking care of myself
Amy starts to cry and walks away to her room
Sonic: Tails I know this place is big, but there is no way we can defend this place with all the doors open. There is no power and you are still having problem fixing the back up power and right now we have three doors open, luckily there hasn't been even one of those things that found our underground base but there could be some of those things when we go up to the exit for we can leave and go outside.
Tails was shocked on how many points sonic was making
Sonic: Listen bud, there is eight of us and only four rooms. Yours is half workshop and I'm sharing mine with silver while knuckles sharing his room with shadow, besides that amy is sharing her room with rouge and blaze.
Tails: I get what you mean, just give me two days to fix the power problem.
Sonic: Alright, two days only if not we are going out and look for somewhere to stay
Shadow: Wow, you were on fire for once and your life
knuckles: Here I have guns for everyone, I already give the girls
Knuckles gives the boys guns to defend themselves. Sonic, shadow, and silver get pistols while knuckles gets a shotgun.
Sonic: How about amy? Did she get something to defend herself with
Knuckles: Everyone got pistols, I would give you guys aks but we must save those for later
Sonic walks over to amy
Sonic: Amy listen... I got to..
Amy holds sonic and started crying
Amy: Please don't go, I'm scared of losing you sonic...
Sonic couldn't say a word
Tails: Sonic can I go and take your place, I have a ray gun and I can fly so I should be fine. Also I need to go looking for some gas and tools that I can use to get the power back
Sonic looked at amy and then looked at tails
Sonic: Sure... you can take my place, but please be really careful out there bud
Tails nods and leaves with the boys
Sonic: Amy what has got you like this...
Amy: I have nightmares sonic.. I'm afraid of being killed but I'm afraid of losing you the most
Sonic: Amy.. I know this world is now ruins but I will never let one of us die, I rather die and save all of you than save myself
Amy starting to claim down and relax
Sonic: Amy.. you can't be scared.. if you are scared then you can't be strong and help us. So that's why you can't be scared amy; you must face fear and don't worry, you are not alone.. I'm also scared but don't worry we can face our fears together.
Sonic looks at amy and places his right hand on amy's cheek and kisses her
Three hours go by and finally the guys are back
Sonic: How did it go?
Shadow: We have good new and really bad news
Sonic: What is the good news
Tails: We got a drop off that was filled with lots of food
Silver: Bad news is that there is a horde of those things coming our way and we have one day before they hit us
The girls all heard what they said, they all started panicking while sonic started to think of what they were going to do next.
