Four months ago...

Autumn sat on her throne, bored. She was the queen of the Forest Clan, her clan is often viewed as a weak link on Ginyra. Suddenly, she hears loud scraping of claws outside of the door of her throne room.

"Should we let him in, Your Majesty?" asked the guard who stood next to her. Autumn gave him a bored look and nodded. The door opened, and she found a badly wounded dragon.

"Y-y-your Majesty." stammered the dragon as he awkwardly bowed, his left front arm seemed to be broken so he limped.

"What is your excuse of bursting into my palace at this time?" hissed Autumn as she circled to dragon suspiciously. He seemed to hesitate. He's afraid, that means there's bad news. grumbled Autumn to herself.

"General Spruce had ordered an attack on a Magma Clan village, the troops massacred them all, I was a part of it." said the dragon breathlessly, "The royal troops of King Inferno arrived and slaughtered all of the troops, General Spruce and I escaped, he's outside waiting, he's requesting a pardon for starting a war with the Magma Clan." Autumn seized the dragon by the neck, he gagged and struggled, but the queen was larger than him.

"What did you say?" growled Autumn angrily, glaring at the dragon.

"He asks for a pardon!" pleaded the dragon, "Your Majesty don't kill me! Please!" Autumn threw him to the floor and stabbed his underbelly with her talons, blood seeped out of his lime green scales. The dragon looked mortified, then collapsed before her.

"Seize the general." snarled Autumn at the guard. The guard quickly ran to the door and came back with a scrawny looking dragon in his grip.

"Your Majesty, I ordered the attack because we were provoked." said Spruce innocently.

"Oh really," replied Autumn, glowering, "You just want revenge for what they didn't do, the Outland tribes slaughtered your family, not the Magma Clan." She whacked him with her wood-hard tail and slit his throat in a swift movement. His agonized scream filled the room before he collapsed.

"Get rid of the corpses," ordered Autumn, shooting a look of annoyance at the guard, who stood there, clearly scared. "Their dead faces disgusts me." The guard lumbered over and grabbed the corpses and dragged them out. The floor was covered with crimson. Her talons bloodied, Autumn returned to her throne. Great, now because of some idiot, the Magma Clan declared war on us. Better gather our allies. Thought Autumn angrily, pounding her talons on the throne.

"Call the army," commanded Autumn to the nearest guard. "Tell them to prepare for war." Out of the corner of her eyes, a miniature black snake slithered through the branches. Stupid snake, she thought, it's gonna get eaten soon enough. But when she observed it more, she realized something amiss. The snake's eyes, were the red of dragon blood.
