They sat in a field of daisies, or Cosmos' nirvana.
"The earth," she breathed.
"What about it?"
"Flowers are like its remedy. Have you ever heard of the quote 'smile away the pain'?"
He shook his head 'yes'.
"Well, in the most controversial places, there are still flowers blooming. It's like the earth is laughing all of it's problems away. Does that make any sense?"
She looks up for conformation and he smiles. So she continues.
"So the earth, our earth, it laughs in flowers," she said while pointing down to the daisies dancing near their toes.
"Looks like Jane isn't so plain after all."
Her face shines in triumph.
