(There is a lot of fast forwards in this chapter. Sorry if it annoys you)

Everything isn't the same. She's been dreading ever since I found her in the meadow on her birthday, she looks depressed. Her eyes are now always filled with water, her nose and cheeks are always flushed with red, her nose is always stuffy, there are bags and dark circles underneath the eyes, her shoulders slumped and her feet dragging whenever she walks.
She isn't the Ashley I met.
She hasn't talked to me ever since. It isn't healthy of her to be piling her emotions up. She needs to talk about this to someone.
We're on break and we have been ever since the day after Ashley's birthday, but why you may ask how I know what she looks like?
Well, I visited her house every single day but she has never communicated not even once. She's in pain and its hurting to see her like this. Her brown eyes are now a green color due to the amount of crying she did and I'm still figuring out what happened.
But I don't want to mention it, because it might make her even more depressed.
But she isn't communicating with me and it isn't healthy of her to pile her emotions and to not let it go.

I glance at Ashley once again, and I see nothing.
her face is completely blank, her eyes are stones and emotionless. She's doing it again. Building walls.
She hasn't been talking since her birthday and I'm beginning to become worried. when people talked to her, she'd just look at them for a couple seconds then look away.
Even when Mr. Scott asked her to solve a problem, she just stared at him blankly waiting for him to choose a different student.
I just hope she just tells me already.

Today is Halloween, and I have absolutely nothing planned. At first before Ashley's birthday, I was thinking about trick or treating with her and Mya, but I would rather stay at Ashley's house now.
I still didn't give Ashley that present from her grandma. I so badly want to know what is inside, but its Ashley's gift and her grandmother probably wanted it to be confidential.
I drove my car to Ashley's house and parked outside on their drive way. I knocked on the door and was welcome by her parents, Greg and Jenny.
I tried to ask them what happened to Ashley, but they don't know what is going on either and thought that I did.
I did give the present to them though and asked them to give it to Ashley I seriously know want to know what is in it.
October 31 5:30 ; unknown
Ashley's mom, Jenny slowly opens the door and sees Ashley lying down on her bed staring at the ceiling. Her mom is contemplating if she should lay down besides her but ends up doing it anyways.
"Someone dropped this off for you. It was a late birthday present." She smiled and kissed her daughters forehead.
"Let me know if you want to just have a civil conversation." She added and slowly closed the door behind her.
Ashley looked down at the golden wrapped box with her name written in cursive in fine tip sharpie. She picks up the small golden box and seems a little hesitant to open it. She unravels the neat bow holding the box together and lifts the top of the box up.
