She smiled, looking around at the lights all around her. I was captivated in a moment. I knew she loved amusement parks but I never thought it would make
her this excited.

"Adam!" Her cheery voice rings out. I snap my head over to look at her, she's smiling brightly, her eyes fixated on a new part of the park.

"Olivia!" I saw slightly mocking her tone. She grabs my hand and tugs me over to a short line. I look up to see the ferris wheel. I keep a comfortable grip of her hand as she talks and talks about how much she loves it here.

Slowly her words start to fade out and I just focus on her mouth, moving and her eyes, glimmering.

She is so beautiful. I think to myself. How the hell did I get so lucky?

Slowly her face morphs into one of panic and fear and I zone back in quickly. It's only then that I hear gunshots and screams. I start pulling her, I don't know where I'm running to but I know I have to get out of there fast.

Another echoing gunshot stops me. And suddenly, my world, as I know it, is gone.
