I'm about to upload a lot of photos. Will warn now there is blood. My adopted brothers dog got ran over by my step dad today. Right now the puppy is ok. But what happened to me is that I was protecting him from our other dogs because they were attacking him for some unknown reason. I accidently touched where he was hurt and he began latching onto my hands. I'm not mad at him and I don't blame him. He was hurt and scared and only did what came natural to him.
