Once she was an elegant, joyous princess, yet after refusing to marry the wicked sorcerer, Rothbart, he transformed the girl into a pitiful swan along with all her maidens. Fragile porcelain birds, neglected of all hope and love, only able to assume human form under the onyx blanket of nightfall.

E D M U N D  P E V E N S I E  was griefstricken. He had yearned to find true love all his life, yet all these dreams evaporated as Aslan declared he must marry soon to royalty from a neighbouring land to strengthen relationships with Narnia. A ball was to be held at Cair Paravel where he would choose a bride he would soon wed.

T H E  N I G H T  B E F O R E  however, the young king meets the bewitching swan princess and listens to her plight. If someone who had never loved before vowed to love Odette forever, she and her maidens would be freed from the curse.
