Thunder boomed outside of the massive castle built into the ground of the Nightwing
territory. A small hybrid dragoness was shaking in her room, she was crying out for her parents
as the storms were scaring her. Her parents had heard someone breaking into their home and
they had run out to defend their daughter and their home.She wanted her mother to comfort
her as she cried for her parents. She didn't know where her parents were as they usually
comforted her during the storms, but when she heard a loud and ear wrenching scream she
grew more worried. She crawled out of her little homemade nest and looked around for her
parents. The loud scream had worried her greatly as she didn't like others being hurt.
As the small dragoness quietly trotted down the halls, tiny wisps of her own golden magic
helped her see around the dark corners of her home. She squeaked softly and her noises echoed
quietly around the stone halls. But soon small red splatters began to appear in the hallway, red
flags instantly shot up for the small dragoness as she knew something wasn't right. Her multi
coloured eyes darted around in worry as a purplish blue blood joined in with the red splatters
on the cobble stone ground. She whimpered softly then screamed when she saw her dead
parents on the floor. Her father had had his throat slashed and her mother had a spear through
her dead.
Dark laughter bounced off the halls as a bloodstained albino seawing stalked out of the
shadows, " you poor little brat!" He howled with laughter as he stared at her with blood shot
eyes and blood dripping from his mouth. The little dragoness screamed and backed away
quickly from the massive, insane seawing. He laughed maniacally as he grabbed the dragoness
by her throat and began to slash open her arms and stomach. Midnight screamed in absolute
agony as she thrashed around and struggled to escape. The seawing laughed loudly as he
slammed the small dragon to the stone floor, " I enchant this hybrid to never be able to have a
proper life, to make her unable to eat anything normal dragons can eat, to make her unable to
move past her parents deaths. She will forever be cursed and life as long as the curse is alive!"
He yelled loudly while strangling Midnight as hard as he could. The dragoness coughed and
gagged as she tried to pull his talons away from her throat.
He just continued to laugh as blood dripped from her mouth , she coughed out blood as
seawings stormed the hidden castle, Spears and swords ready. The mad prince lunged at the
guards and tried to attack them. But due to his madness he was quickly killed off and disposed
of , but since to Midnight being cursed by KillerWhale, the magic driven murderer. She was taken
by the seawings and had an object on her that was supposed to make her sleep forever. But after
a while it broke and after a long four thousand year slumber, Midnight finally escaped the
clutches of the seawings. She absolutely hated them with all her heart but she knew she needed
to find someone to raise her. She may have been over four thousand years old but mentally she
hadn't aged in years. But she knew that there was someone out there for her and she knew they
were in the kingdom of sky.
Days passed and Midnight was growing tired, it was a weeks long walk from the kingdom of the
sea to the kingdom of sky. She was extremely hungry and anything she tried to eat she ended up
puking out. She coughed and cried as she was alone without her family. But she couldn't get
revenge as the seawing had died years ago. But she shook it off, afraid of remembering that day.
A SkyWing fleet had spotted the little dragon, unsure wether she was a threat or not they carried
her to Queen Scarlet who was appalled at the poor baby dragon. She was very sick and hungry
and barely clinging to life. So the queen decided to take her in and raise her as her own.
