Heavy breathing could be heard through the small house that resided on the outskirts of Gralea. Tears streamed down the woman's face as she cried out in pain. Thunder rolling in the background, the woman screamed as more pain spread throughout her body. "A-Ardyn! Oh g-god... P-Please make t-t-the pa-pain stop! I-I can't t-take it an-anymore!" The woman sobbed as Ardyn hushed her quietly, holding her hand tightly. "It is alright my dear, you are almost there. I can see our child's head. Just one more push." Ardyn encouraged his wife as she nodded her head. With one more push, an infants cry was heard with the clash of thunder. Ardyn became excited, taking his child into his arms, cleaning the blood off.

"Roslyn, its a girl! I'm so happy that we have a girl! Aren't you happy too... Roslyn?" Ardyn looked up in confusion to find that his wife had her eyes closed. He placed a hand on her cheek to feel the warmth fading away as she stopped breathing. Ardyn looked in shock as he tried to awaken his wife. "Roslyn... Roslyn this isn't f-funny... Wake up damnit! ROSLYN!" Ardyn yelled as the baby girl cried at his booming voice. Ardyn ignored the child as he held the corpse of his wife, crying. "N-No... Roslyn, my love. Why did you leave me! We could've been a family! And now you're gone... All because of that bloodly child!" Ardyn glared at the child as she continued to cry. He growled darkly as he layed his wife down and grabbed the baby.

"Shut up... SHUT UP YOU WORTHLESS CHILD!" Ardyn yelled as the baby went silent in fear, sniffles being the only thing that came out. Ardyn's amber eyes flared in anger as he walked towards the front door and opened it. Lightening struck nearby as Ardyn looked out the sky. "Damn you gods! You chosen me to take care of the daemons, then threw me out of my own rights of being king, take the lives of both Aera and Roslyn who were my lovers, and then burden me with this child who killed Roslyn! I damn you all and curse this child! You can take this child back!" Ardyn yelled in rage before he threw the baby on to the ground. The baby vanished before it could hit, and appeared on the bed next to his dead wife.

Ardyn became more angered and tried to throw the baby out, only to be thrown to the side, away from his child. "FINE! I'LL KEEP THAT WORTHLESS CHILD! BUT WHEN SHE REACHES THE AGE OF 10, I WILL BE RID OF HER ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!" Ardyn yelled at the gods once more as the storm calmed. Ardyn stood up, rubbing his arm in annoyance as he glared at the child. He walked towards her and took her into his arms. "Damn you child... I curse you for taking my Roslyn away... She always wanted a daughter, but if I had known you'd kill her, I would've never became intimate with her... I'm so sorry Roslyn." Ardyn said to his wife as he looked at the baby in his arms. The child's eyes glowed an amber color before changing to (e/c) as the child frowned. "Seeing as I am now stuck with you, I will be forced to name you... I remember that Roslyn wanted to call you (Y/N) for some reason, but I guess it will do for now. I won't stay with you forever since you most likely are just a simple mortal..."

Ardyn growls as the toddler wondered the house aimlessly in wonder. (Y/N) recently turned 3 and was starting to learn how to walk on her own. She'd whine every time Ardyn ignored her and grab onto his uniform. "Go away child, I rather not deal with you." Ardyn said as he focued on some papers for the Niflhiem army as he became an officer not too long ago. (Y/N) whined even more before being pushed away by Ardyn. Falling to the ground, (Y/N) ended up cutting herself with the wooden flooring. Sniffling, she held her arm as blood started to trickle down to the floor. "Damnit (Y/N)... You're getting blood on the floor, damn child." Ardyn sighed as he stood up and headed into the next room to gather a first aid kit for (Y/N)'s cut. She continued to sniffle in pain as Ardyn returned, cleaning her up as he wrapped her arm in bandages.
