Little by little
It will come in
Silently
It will take you by surprise
You will become suffocated
The burning pain will open you up to feel
Alone, empty, and cold
You will have nothing left
You will end up letting it in
It will push you deeper and deeper
You know this isn't what you want
But it is more powerful
You will begin to fight but you lose
So you fight again
And again, and again
Finally it begins to weaken
But now you are weak too
You can see the light is calling you
Its telling you to fight
But you feel weak
It tries to suffocate you again
But it is to weak to overpower you
You begin to fight once again
But this time you do not stop
You are now overpowering it
And the darkness is now no more.
