Pythor x Princess! Reader

Sorry this took so long! I ran into a bit of writer's block ^^' I was given what was to be in this but I still struggled to write. Anywho,enjoy!

(y/n) P.O.V.

It was a clear & beautiful night as I was getting ready to have dinner. My parents,the king & queen,had a special dinner for me tonight but I had no clue why. I put on a nice,not too formal but not too casual (f/c) dress & walked to the dinning hall.

"Ah, Princess (y/n) has arrived!" my father said as I sat down. I looked around the room & saw a lot of people here.

"Mom,what is all this?" I whispered to her confused. She just giggled & nodded her head to my dad.

"Now you all my wonder why I invited you all here." He started off with,I swear he must be a mind reader! We heard a bunch of murmurs before another king from a different kingdom interjected.

"Yes,we would love to know why we were invited here." he asked. My father chuckled & walked to me. He stood me up & pulled me to where he was standing before.

"Tomorrow is Princess (y/n) 18th birthday!(just pretend ok)" he said with a smile making me giggle.

"I nearly forgot."I whispered to him. He smiled then pulled prince (whatever name you want) next to me.

"& as tradition these 2 will be wedded tomorrow night after the morning party!" he said. Prince (whatever name you gave him) got all excited but I was completely shocked! Why cant I marry someone I want?

"Father I dont want to get married to him,this is the 1st time Ive seen him" I said after pulling my father to the side.

"But its as part of a treaty for our kingdom & his. You 2 are to be wedded or there will be a war! Now no buts,its already set. You'll be wearing your mother's gown"he said. I teared up & ran off to my room.

"(y/n)!" I heard my mother call for me but I kept running to my room. I locked the door & changed into my normal outing clothes. I flung a rope out of my window that was tied to my bed frame before I climbed out with nothing but a small bag with a blanket &  some food. I rather be anywhere but home! Once I reached the ground,I pulled the rope till it untied itself & landed at my feet. I then stuffed it into my bag before running into the dark woods. Many people hate going into these woods at night but I quite enjoy it. I hummed as I wandered about, slightly nibbling on some bread as I looked for my path to a clearing I always lay in the grass & star gaze at. I was about to reach the path when suddenly,a tree fell blocking it. I screamed & began to run,dropping my bag in the process.

Pythor's P.O.V.

I was slithering through the forest when I spotted the princess. I smirked & followed her quietly. If I catch her & ask the king & queen to pay a ransom for her then I can get rich! I chuckled quietly to myself before turning invisible. I began to cut down a tree till I heard her scream. I watched as he ran towards the cave I hide in,excellent. I followed till she was in the cave,now she's cornered. I went in with a bag & watched as she sat down.

"Ok c-calm down (y/n) its ok. I-it was probably weak from someone cutting it yesterday yeah. This happens normally get a hold of yourself." she said to herself. I chuckled before jumping on her & tying her up.

"Sssstay ssssstill will ya!"I hissed as she kept squirming.

"HELP!" she screamed before I tied a cloth around her mouth. I stuffed her in the bag & left. If someone heard her,I had to flee. Luckily for me,I have other hiding spots. I slithered till I reached the abandoned cottage I had set up as my food storage,no one dares to go near it so its perfectly safe. I went in & dropped her on the bed before getting something to eat.
