One Dart was imbedded to the board, scoring a bulseye. Followed by another one, hitting far from the middle.

Then another one.

And one more till there were four darts in total on the board.

The Prince sat leisurely in his desk having finished a mountain of paperwork a few moments ago. A cup of cold coffee long forgotten in the corner of the unkempt desk. All the paperworks that should have kept him occupied for at lest until tomorrow evening was already done within half of the day. He unfortunately had trouble sleeping the previous night, much to his confusion. So he opted to deal with some of thr many matters he needed to attend to.

With his new maid still in training, no one to keep him company, and a surprisingly lack of things to do, Prince Lennard was obviously bored.

"KAI! I know you're there!" A sharp and loud call was heard within the Prince's office before a man, who could be easilly distinguished as a young adult, came striding in. Of course this happened not instantly but after a brief period of time. One does not instantly heed to a call that fast.

"Yes Len? What do you need?" The ebony haired man said rather casually. If any other person would hear the lack of respect for the Prince in his words and in his tone, he would be regarded as an impudent and rude man.

"Is there anything else on my schedule for the day?" The Prince asked with a sigh.

The man made a mental check of his Majesty's duties and obligations, however, fortunately or unfortunately, the Prince has a clear schedule for the day. All meetings that were supposed to be attended today were either moved the next day or it was already made. The Prince does have a habit of overworking. Just the previous night, he spent it filling in paperworks and checking all the arrangements for the ball held on Christmas

"No. I believe your schedule for the day is clear as a blank paper. His highness might as well use it as a day of relaxation." He replied casually.

Compared to the other guards, the Prince is used to this man's casual conversations with him. For he was no ordinary man. And he would never be considered as such for the rest of his life. He was the Prince's right hand man and personal guard. On some days he would dress like one. But within the castle walls, he prefers to dress light. He adorned a thick long-sleeved shirt with slightly frizzled cuffs, brown pants and knee boots in the shade of ebony. If he goes outside he would drape a thicker blue coat with the kingdom's symbol embroidered to it's right shoulder. But since he was indoors, he would rather wear something casual. Well as casual as a royal employee.

Yesterday, however, he spent the whole day in regular guard's uniform by order of the prince. His intention, however, was still unclear. Even the motive why the Prince left the palace after a long time of being holed in the castle was a bit unclear. He said that he would be finding a gift for the young princess' upcomming birthday. But what he brought home was maid.

Even after years of being the prince's aid, he is still an enigma.

"Where are the weekly civilian and military reports? Is it not supposed to be delivered today?" Len, in all his authority, asked rigidly to his aid in desperation of relief from his boredom. Even when he holed himself in his library, he always had something to occupy his attention. Before, he would often beg for his tutors to teach him everything he is curous about. And when he is not satisfied with their answers, he took it into his own hands to learn what he could on his own.

Third point of view ramblings aside, the point is that the blond Prince has nothing to do, which almost never happens.

"Have you forgotten? The reports are delayed until after Christmas, which will be happening in two days."
