Soda and ponyboy didn't really talk after that. The gang thing split them up for "their own good" see I told you they were useless. One day ponyboy walked to the same lot that dally was killed in to watch the sunset. But soda had beat him to it. coincidence? I thInk nOT. Ponyboy sat next to him. On some sorta curb thing idk. It was awkward because they were forbidden to see each other because it was Texas not Alabama. They have each other looks that said should we run away to Alabama where we can finally have a family and kids. But then they remembered Johnny. And ponyboy started crying again.
