I stood up and went to the kitchen

I sighed in defeat and headed outside. I make my way to the nearest convenience store. I opened the door and looked around kung nasan nakalagay ang mga drinks. I went closer to the fridge and opened it. I took out the drink Rain wanted and payed for it immediately. After that. Nagsimula nakong maglakad pabalik. Noong malapit nako sa bahay, I saw a familiar girl holding some boxes. Mukang nahihirapan siya ah. Tapos bigla siyang nahulog kasama yung boxes. I immediately helped her
"Okay ka lang Miss?" I stretched out my hand
"Uhm thanks-" The girl held my hand ang looked up
"Yeji?" I asked
"Oh Jake?" Yeji chuckled
"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" I asked helping her to stand up
"We're moving to that house" Yeji pointed the one near to our house
"Talaga? Yung bahay na yun is samen" I point out our house
"Wah, kapitbahay pala kita?" Yeji smiled
"Kelangan niyo ba ng tulong sa pagbubuhat ng boxes?" I asked
"Actually kelangan talaga namin eh" Yeji rubbed the back of her hair
"Wait lang" I chuckled thinking of the idea
I fished out my phone from my pocket and dialed Nixon's number

"Tinawag mo kami para lang tulungan ka namin na ligawan si-" I cutted Rain's words
"Tara buhat tayo ng mga karton. Maglilipat kasi sila Yeji" I immediately got myself a box
"Yun lang pala. Tara" Nixon and the others started bringing the boxes

Mabilis naming natapos at naidala ang mga boxes paloob. Nixon and the others already came back to the house
"So uhm. Salamat sa tulong" Yeji smiled
"No problem" I chuckled
"Hmm. How about we'll get coffee in the nearest cafe tomorrow? My treat! And also a way of thanking you" Yeji asked
"It's fine you don't need to-"
"Please Jake? I insist" Yeji pleaded
"Okay fine" I chuckled
"So see you at 8 am here?" Yeji started walking back
"See you" I replied and went inside the house
Hala ano to. Bakit ayaw mawala nung ngiti ko
"Hoy Jake kanina ka pa nakangiti jan. Parang tanga" Rain commented
"Aish. Wala kang pakelam" I rolled my eyes at her
"Masaya lang siguro yan ksae kapitbahay niya si Yeji" Nixon chuckled
