Leaving was one of the hardest things he'd done. Writing that letter was another hard thing. He wanted to say those things to her in person. He wanted to be the one to place the necklace around her neck. He wanted to say that special sentence to her. He smiled thinking about how confused she would be.
He looked out the window of his ship at the stars he was passing as he thought about what he was doing. He had three days to prepare. He had to overthrow Ruta or else she'd take over everything. He grimaced at the thought. He wouldn't let that happen. He couldn't let that happen.
He had three long days ahead of him and longer days after that. He needed to stealthily take out the weaker soldiers first. Then, he needed to figure out how to take out the others quietly as well. He wanted to do this quick and quietly, but he also knew something could go very wrong very fast. He sighed.
No matter what, I WILL return. You can count on it Sarah, teach. Just six days til I'll return.
________Three days later_________
Karoto landed on the landing pad for his ship. He wanted to go to his shared home, yet he couldn't not yet at least. Maybe when this was all over he could get what he wanted. In the meantime, he'd have to fly to a different place to stay or find a well hidden cave or something from the sort. Karoto, with his mind made up, flew away to hide.

Terpomo was home trying to figure out what was wrong with his housemate when his tracker beeped. Karoto was back? Why hadn't he contacted him? The tall Legomojian soldier had a terrible feeling in his gut. Was he hurt? If he was, then he was an idiot.
That dumb boy. He should've known better. He better have that damn bracelet.
Terpomo hurried to his transportation vehicle that resembled an earth motorcycle with a few tweaks to it. He drove it to the landing pad Karoto always used. The soldier noticed dawn coming as hues of red shown bright in the sky. Was he really up all night? Oh well.
The red morning sky was fully in now as his ship came into sight. He parked his vehicle near the landing pad.
"Karoto!" No response. "Karoto! Answer me!" Silence. There was no way the ship flew itself. That only meant one thing. The boy was hiding. He was planning something. That wasn't good. What happened on Earth? Did those creatures change the boy? No! It couldn't be.
The brown, spiky haired man was internally panicking. Karoto was too good to lose! He had to reach the boy before he did anything drastic. He grabbed his vehicle and drove off hoping for a sign.

Karoto was laying low in an inn. He was starved! Eating was definitely a must before he did anything. He threw out all his gear that tied him to the royal family. Now, he wore a simple black shirt and pants with boots.
He had to wait til until it was safe. When the guards were all tired and distracted. That wouldn't be for a while. He could wait though. He had to.

Terpomo search every building he crossed. His underling hadn't left a trace of himself anywhere. That meant he was using his magic to fly. He could track his magic! He grabbed his magic detector from his belt and activated it. The machine did not disappoint him.

Karoto was lying down on the bed trying to let his stomach digest the food. It was an hour later that he heard footsteps in the hall. He thought it must've been the service people. He was wrong.
