Lilly pov

"Now both of you know that we want that finished for the 31st of March....will it be ready?" Dad asked "yes father" Draco said "and Lilly?" He said after noticing I hadn't answered "yes daddy...it'll be done" I said before giving both my parents a hug and walking away and up the hill to Hogwarts. When we reached the castle I turned around looking at how amazing the courtyard and school looked covered in snow. Draco was meant to kill Dumbledore in June, closer to the end of school year but voldemort wanted it moved to may. Giving him longer to help snape gain control of the school before we finished for summer.

I knew Draco wouldn't do it....he didn't have the stomach. But he had no choice in the situation, as for me...I'm going to try and leave before it happens. I don't think I'll be able to stand Harry's face if he sees me leave with them. They all got back today, I would have to meet them at the train but I didn't have the energy. I checked my watch and noticed the time, I had an hour to kill so I went up to my dorm and slept.

"Lilly...Lilly wake up" I heard Ginny say, I jumped up "Oh merlin I'm so sorry! I meant to meet you at the track!" I said hugging her "it's fine don't worry, you look tired, are you sure you don't want to sleep for a while longer?" She asked "no no I'm fine, is Harry back?" I questioned "yea he's in the common room with Seamus and dean" she said. I jumped off the bed and down the stairs to see the green eyed boy sitting on the sofa, he looked up and seen me jumping up, I ran over to him giving him a hug that knocked him back into the sofa

"someone's excited to see you" Seamus said "oh shh" I said letting go "I missed you" I said, "I missed you too, how was your Christmas?" He asked "umm...good, yours?" I questioned "just the usual" he said, I sat down by him as the boys had left to give us some space "how come you stayed here for the holidays?" Harry asked "oh um...dad had a business meeting and mum went with him so we stayed here" I said, he nodded "you've not been yourself recently....is everything okay. You know you can tell me anything" he said "I know, I think it's just these owls coming up, I'm just stressed ya know" I said

"at least they finish may and then it's just a month of practicing and messing about" he said, I nodded "the feasts starting now we should head down" he said, "oh yes!" I said grabbing his arm and dragging him down. As we sat I overheard Hermione whispering "Draco's a lot paler than normal ain't he...almost like he's sick" she whispered to Ron "I don't know...I never noticed" he replied before turning back to his food, but it was true. He's been missing a lot of meals to finish the box and now he's to try and postpone finishing it...he never gets a chance to just sit.

The next couple of days rumours sparked about what had happened to Katie, we were walking into the great hall as Draco did but he quickly turned and I saw Harry chase him. Worried I gave it a couple of seconds and followed him. I followed them to 3rd floor boys bathroom and stood outside. I could hear curses being said and things breaking but then silence. I looked to my right and seen snape walking briskly towards me. I walked into the bathroom and hid out of sight of Harry and looked at Draco. I let out a scream and Harry heard, there was no point hiding. I walked straight over to Draco and sat down in the water beside him

"Draco.." I cried as blood began pouring out of the wounds, I grabbed his hand after snape shooed Harry and began healing him. I rubbed his face and his hair to calm him down before snape took him to his office to calm him down properly. I hadn't moved, sitting in a mix of water and pool of Draco's blood, when I did finally get up I was soaked but I didn't care. I walked in to the great hall my face pale and grabbed Ginny "Lilly wait!" Harry shouted as we walked out, I turned around but didn't say anything. My hands were tinted red and my eyes were swollen

"I'm so sorry" he said "I..I read it in a book I.." was all he could say "I'll speak to you later Potter...I need...I need..." was all I said before turning back round and speaking to Ginny. When I had finally calmed down and got washed I walked downstairs to see the others talking "you nearly killed him Harry!" Hermione said "What is that potions book" Ginny said, I could see them trying to get it from him so I snuck up behind him and grabbed it, before reading th name of who it belonged to before hand "the half blood prince?" I questioned "listen I just seen the curse in there I didn't know it would work!" Harry said "we need to put this book somewhere you won't be tempted to try and find it" I said before taking his hand and leading him to the room of requirements, he looked nervous as I led him

"do you trust me?" I asked, he nodded "then close your eyes" I said before walking backwards. I hid it and came back, I looked at him and gave him a small kiss "would you like me too hid up here as well?" I said before walking away, I could see him when he opened his eyes. His eyes scanning round but he couldn't find me. I slipped out before he could notice and ran down to snapes office to check in Draco. When I got in I seen my father there "dad" I said when I walked in "Lilly, why are you showing up to professors offices with suitable clothing on, I looked down. I was wearing leggings and a cropped top me and Ginny had made a couple weeks ago

"I do apologise Professor snape, and to you too dad. I just had to see if Draco was okay" I said walking over to my brother, he smiled a small smile before going pale again. "Why weren't you there to protect him?" My father asked "I was on my way, I got there before he died didn't I?" Snape said "the dark lord favours Draco very much. If you were to have let him get killed then it would not have ended well" my father spat "don't let this happen again" was all he said before walking into the fire a flooing away. My eyes met the two in front of me and I sighed, I couldn't cope with this anymore.
