The B-TEC Nick Fury led me out of the room into a corridor, which was just as grey as the cell. The S.H.I.E.L.D logo: a white, fancy looking eagle (I wonder if Zeus influenced the design - Stupid ADHD) was on the wall.
A new pair of (grey) cuffs were slapped on my wrist.
What is it with grey here?
I followed Mackey and he took me to the centre of the ship. I could I immediately tell I was at sea, being the son of Poseidon and all. I was Lat. 256 and Lon. 146, just west to Long Island, going 15 knots and heading due south.
The control centre of the ship was massive. It was filled with (grey) computers and behind those computers sat people in (grey) uniform. In front of me lay a massive window, letting me look out into the ocean.
I was underwater.
A great white suddenly started to swim into view, and I heard a few people gasp. They must have never seen a great white that big before. And it was ginormous.
*Hey, Dude Bro. Our Queen wanted to know if you were going to say high to her, she misses you. She isn't in a good state, both Poseidon and Triton got dusted and you're the only family she really has.* said the shark, swimming around lazily.
I nodded to the shark and he swam away, causing a few people to sigh in relief. Amphridite was the queen of the sea and my step-mum. She was surprisingly nice considering that my dad essentially cheated on her, nicer than a few goddesses to say the least *cough*Hera*cough*. She must be in a really bad state then, with her son and husband getting dusted. I was the only family she had left.
I should really visit her, or maybe IM her.
"Perseus, are you listening?" I was snapped out of my train of thought by B-TEC Fury, who was staring and clicking his fingers at me.
"It's Percy. And nope, I'm not."
"Oh for Gods' sake. Why did I offer for you to join?"
"Because you need me."
"And why do I need you?"
"Because I know where Stark is."
Mackey froze, and you could see the colour drain from his face.
"You... You do?"
"He's near this planet called Titan. Don't ask how I know."
Mackey took a step back and I smirked. That seemed to work.
"Ri... Right then. I'll take you to the Avenger compound, and you can tell them what you know. Oh, Cap's gonna hate me for this."
Mackey gave his second in command some commands (Ha!) and gestured for me to follow him. He spoke into his comms and ordered a 'quinjet' to be prepared for him as we climbed numerous (big word!) amounts of stairs. We eventually emerged at the top and stepped out onto the landing pad. It was massive, filled with (grey) fighter jets and (grey) helicopters. We boarded one and took off, heading for the compound.
"Oh and Perseus."
I turned around to face Macky, who was holding a small remote with the S.H.I.E.L.D logo on it.
"Thanks for everything."
I tensed, waiting for the shock to come like in every spy movie where the good guy gets betrayed.
But nothing came.
Instead, my handcuffs came off and so did the zappy thingy on my neck. I touched it tenderly and winced when it was still sore.
"I'd figured you'd want them taken off."
"Well, you figured correctly."
We sat in silence while the pilot flew us to the compound.

The next hour was the worst of my life, constantly in fear of being blasted out the sky by Zeus, but then remembering that he was dead and then getting really sad because of Ann... Annabeth being dead. But fortunately, it was quite easy to just look out over the sea and forget everything. Mackey seemed to notice.
"Scared of flying?"
"You can put it like that."
"Well, don't worry. We're nearly there. You should be able to see it now."

I peered out of the window, and sure enough, The Avenger compound was coming into view.
And it was massive.
The main building overlooked a lake, with one side covered in windows. The Avenger's A was laying on the roof. A courtyard was in the centre, and a garage was to the left. There was even a place where you could land jets and planes.
Slowly, the comms on the quinjet crackled to life, and someone spoke.
"Hello, this is Natasha Romanoff, please state your reason for landing."
Mackey walked up to the comms and spoke into it, "Hello, this is Director Mackenzie. I have information regarding the whereabouts of Tony Stark."
I heard Natasha's breath hitch in her throat, "Ok, you ha... you have permission to land. We... We'll meet you there."
The comms turned off. We soon landed and the bay door opened to see the blondie, Shmaptain Shmerica, two other guys and the build-a-bear raccoon walk towards us.

"Hello, Captain Rogers. My name is Director Mackenzie, I am currently the acting head of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nice to meet you." Mackey shook the captain's hand.
"Word is you know where Tony Stark is."
"Is that the only word about me?"
"It's the only word I care about."

Mackey nodded and gestured for me to join him. I did, and Cap's face visibly fell when he noticed me.
I must have really pissed him off.
"Captain, this is Perseus Jackson, as you know. He knows the location of Tony Stark and I have offered for him to join the Avengers."
One of the guys stepped forward, "Sir, with all due respect, Perseus here is a national criminal and I don't think it be in our best interests to let him join."
"I've thought this through, Dr Banner. He'll be of help. I will keep an eye on him though, just in case."
Dr Banner? Isn't he the guy who can turn into a massive green rage monster?
Oh, gods, Leo would love to meet him.
"So, then what? He tells us where Tony is, we go and get him and?"
"You decide. He can either stay with you or come back with us."

We all stood in silence while the Avengers figured out what to do.
"Right then. Well how about we decide now if Perseus stays with us or not once we're done. All in favour of Perseus leaving?" Asked the Captain. Everyone put their hand up, including me. The blondie glared at me. I glared back.
"You don't get to decide, Perseus."
"It's Percy, for gods' sake."
"Whatever."
"Well, err... I'll be going now. I'll come back in a few weeks to check on Perseus and to maybe pick him up. You can change your minds if you want to." Said Mackey as he walked back to the quinjet.
He turned around, "Oh and Perseus? Behave." He left.

We stood in awkward silence as the quinjet took off and left for the Helicarrier. The guy who hadn't said anything started whistling and put his hands in his pockets, which was being held up by some sort of robotic brace.
"Well, this is awkward," I said, stuffing my hands in my pockets and rocking on my feet.
"No shit, Sherlock." Sighed the build-a-bear.
"Language!"
I chuckled quietly to myself at the raccoon's exasperated sigh and we all headed to the compound. Once we headed inside, the Captain turned to me and the brace guy, "Rhodey will show you to your room. It's the guest room in the sleeping quarters. Someone will bring you dinner. And please, don't blow up anything." The brace guy gestured for me to follow him and I did, looking around as I did so.

The main hall was filled to the brim with boxes and weird sort of contraptions. One of the walls was covered with windows, looking out over the lake. A balcony lay on the opposite wall, and there were several techy-looking things covering it.
Gods, Leo would love this place.
You know what? He'd worship it.
We exited the main hall and entered a hallway. One side was covered in windows, and it looked out to a mini courtyard. There were several doors leading away into separate rooms. There seemed to be a kitchen, a living room where I could see the Avengers hanging out, a conference room and another corridor that led off to gods' know where. We headed up another flight of stairs and through another corridor before we got to the sleeping quarters.
Braces pointed to a room that didn't have a name tag on the door, "This is your room. I'll bring you your food in a couple of hours. The wifi password should be on the bedside table. Don't call if it isn't."

I entered the room as braces left.
And it was massive. Also, what is their obsession with windows?
A giant window overlooked the lake, and I could see a pier floating over it. A king size bed stood in the corner of the room, and there was the alleged bedside table next to it.
Without the wifi password.
Traitors.
The Hecate cabin had discovered an enchantment that meant phones didn't act like a beacon to monsters. Now, almost all of the demigods had a phone, and that meant we hated it when we didn't know the wifi password. A desk stood opposite the bed, and there were a laptop and a notebook.
It was beginning to get dark; I could see the sun setting over the lake. So, I decided to wait until braces brought dinner and then go to sleep. A long, boring hour later, Braces entered carrying a tray filled with sandwiches. A juice carton and a plate of waffles were also on the tray.
Were the Avengers being nice to me?
"Brought you dinner. And before you make some sarcastic comment about the waffles, Nat had made too many for even Thor to eat, so we decided to give you some."
Not even Thor could finish the waffles? How many did she make?
Braces handed me the tray and I picked up one of the sandwiches, taking a bite into it.
He backed out of the room, "Night, Perseus. We'll see you in the conference room at ten tomorrow." I nodded thanks as he left and continued eating my sandwich. Eventually, I finished and moved onto the waffles.
And they were delicious.
They were finished quickly. Too quickly. Stuffed, I laid down on the bed and decided to go to sleep.

Fortunately, I didn't dream.
