"Scorpius, are you-?" The redhead wrapped her arm tightly around Scorpius, who stared at the wall in front of him "It's no matter Rose nothing I do will change the fact that's she's gone" He said, words dry unlike his eyes "Of course it matters Scorp-" the Gryffindor boy wiped his tears away "No, it doesn't. Did you talk to Albus? About what happened?" "Yes. He was upset" Answered Rose softly letting the boy go for a bit  "Really, what did he say?" "He's angry because he trusts us with his life, and we didn't trust him with something as small as this."

    "Al knows I trust him completely, he knows that. Right?" Scorpius' voice was quick and panicky "I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that sweetheart" Perhaps if this was a usual day and the couple were having a normal conversation Scorpius would have turned red as soon as that last word left Rose' mouth but it wasn't a usual day and it wasn't a normal conversation "He has to know. I need him to know." The boy stood fidgeting with his long jacket, "Scorp-"

    "Rose don't. My friendship with Albus is the only thing that I can fix right now, I must." Rose began to stand once she realized that he was using their situation as a distraction. "Scorpius! Listen to me!" She grabbed scorps' wrist as he turned "You're upset about your mother which is more than understandable. You mustn't blame yourself for her death." "I do. Rose, it is my fault I'm not there for her!" His eyes became blurred with tears "How? How could you predict that you'd end up twenty-three years in the past? How could you have foreseen the fact that your mother still had the curse in her blood,"

"Are you feeling alright?" Asked a Narcissa walking up to them "We should get going." Answered Scorpius. Narcissa felt weird for one, she had to ask who on Merlin's name was Rose, however, she could see how sad her grandson was "Well, he's I suppose we must." "Wait, Mrs.Malfoy, you need to obvlivate Professor Snape" Said Rose standing by the door, anxious to leave to see if her family had escaped "Oh, of course"

"We've come back!" Announced the youngest of the black sisters as she and the two teenagers went over to the small crown. When Draco turned to greet his mother he noticed "Everyone has fled!" "What?!" Exclaimed Victoire pretending to be shocked when really she felt as if a heavy weight had been lifted off her chest

"Well, while you four- yes, Draco, you too- look for them I'm taking them on a tour of the house" Said Narcissa moving out to the gardens with the four 'future' kids closely following "Thanks, but how did you?-" said Victoire once they where out of view. The woman smiled and led them outside "The Avery's aren't redheads, be safe" "Will do, thanks again Mrs Malfoy" said Teddy as Victoire looked at Scorpius who looked at the ground his expression unreadable.

- 30 M I N U T E S -E A R L I E R-
Across from the manor stood all of the kids with the exception for Teddy, Victoire, Scorpius and Rose. They all waited for the arrival of Remus Lupin, Tonks and Harry as Victoire told them to do, still agitated and scared.

"Oh god!" Breathed one of the many, many redheads in that family "Lil, you feeling good there?" Asked Lysander signalling for the girl to sit in the sidewalk by his side "Just a tad terrified for my life but good," "No need for the sarcasm, Luna" "Learned from the best. Didn't I Andie?" Smiled Lily looking forward at everyone "First, I've told you not to call me that Lu. Second, we are going to be alright, promise." Said the young boy looking at Lily as she turned to face him with a serious expression

"I don't do promises," "In that case. I, Lysander Scamander, swear on my life that we will be okay" Said Lys placing his right hand over his heart and puffing his chest out "If you die for that. I'll kill you," threatened Lily Luna grinning at the blond

"Roxie! Thank god you aren't harmed, thinking something might happen to you almost gave me a heart attack" exclaimed Frank running up to his girlfriend a grin plastered on his face, Roxanne looked at the boy and then turned
"Rox? What's the matter?" He asked grabbing her wrist causing her to face him "Why?" Asked Roxanne quietly looking down "Why is it no one believes we'll last,"

"What do you mean?" Asked the Longbottom Boy letting go of her "Before all this, I was talking to Ben He seemed surprised we were still together. He said everyone expected us to be through by know" "Well, first Ben is a bloody idiot and second they are mistaken. I love you, Roxanne Weasley," the brown-haired boy frowned. Rox had never shown any doubt in their relationship why is she now,

"We aren't meant to be together. Don't you see?" She started refusing to meet the boys eyes "Ever since we've gotten together it's been obstacle after obstacle-" "And we have passed every single one of them" Frank tried to convince Roxanne to have some faith in them which proved to be rather difficult, she was set on this "It's just too difficult" "Do not say that! Please. Roxie, baby" tears blurred his vision "I'm so sorry" the Weasley girl walked away from Frank her knees weak, taking all of her energy in order to not fall down and start sobbing right then and there.

"Did you do it, Roxanne? Did you break up with him?" Asked a voice stepping next to the girl "Yes. It's done." Answered Rox wiping her tears as they kept flowing from her dark brown eyes "Hey, it had to be done" said Dominique hugging her cousin "I know" "For his own good." Continued Dom all the while Roxanne sobbed into her shoulder

-B U R R O W-
    "Oh thank Merlin! You're all safe!" Shouted Molly walking over to the lot that had just appeared in her kitchen "Scorp, Rose, Vicky and Teddy aren't here yet Grams" Complained Lily Luna "It's alright Lily, I've just gotten a call from Victoire it seems Narcissa has helped them leave they should be on their way" Said Hermione, although her tone didn't quite match her words for she sounded worried. Why wouldn't she be it is her daughter after all,

     "There you are!" Exclaimed Tonks running up to her son who's hair was fixed in a brownish colour "No! What is this?" Asked Elizabeth leaving her place by Albus' side "What?" Asked rose looking at Scorpius who still just started down "What happened? Scorpius won't look up, Rose is distracted and her eyes are all red and puffy, lastly, Teddy and Victoire could not be standing farther away from each other which is very unusual, considering that you two are always curling up against each other," stated the golden-haired girl

    "My mum- she's gone. Dead. And I'm not there with her," about a hundred of "Oh, Scorp!"  "I'm so sorry!"s' ringed around the big house, but only one loud "Scorpius!" Albus. He ran and hugged Scorpius tightly pulling Rose in too, "He thinks it's his fault doesn't he" Asked Al. Rose nodded and they all pulled away "Scorp, where is that Gryffindor pride and all that rubbish" "Left with my mum" Answered Scorpius "Is there anything." Started Albus placing his hand on the blond' shoulder

"Come to the funeral." Everyone dispersed around the house leaving Albus, Rose and Scorpius alone "Of course" smiled Albus weakly while Scorpius fidgeted with his jacket once again "And be my good friend"
