Fay's Pov
a year later

"Honey, you need to quit spending so much time on that website" my mom told me as I picked at my dinner.
"Mom, I don't care. I have a Skype date with Ricky in ten minutes" I told her, rolling my eyes. I need to fix my hair and makeup. Ricky and I have been dating for six months, today. I don't know how we make it work, we've grown distant here lately, but, I still love that cute, little, emo cupcake to death.
"Fayleen, you know I don't approve of you talking to strangers" she reminded me.
"Mom, if you didn't let me talk to strangers, how would I make friends? Plus, Ricky is around my age and I love him" I replied.
"You can't love a stranger, sweetheart" she told me. I call bullshit. I love Ricky and I love Ville Valo and he doesn't even know I exist!
"Whatever. I need to go. It's Ricky and I's six month anniversary and I've blown him off for the past two nights" I stated, running upstairs.
I did my usual routine and logged into Skype and Myspace. Ricky was on Skype luckily. I clicked video call and waited for him to pick up. He picked up about fifteen seconds later.

Ricky's grey eyes popped up on the screen when he picked up.
"Happy anniversary, babe" he greeted, blowing a kiss at the screen.
"Happy anniversary! I love you! Sorry that I haven't been on, my mom found out about you, and has tried to do everything she could to keep me away from my computer" I explained.
"It's fine, I got plane tickets to come see you for a few days, I leave tomorrow morning" he told me. I started to cry.
"Baby, don't cry" He cooed.
"These are tears of happiness. I get to meet my love for the first time. Face to face. You're probably gonna meet my mom when I ask to hang out" I told him.
"Oh great. I get to meet mama Parente, will she accept me?" He asked, referring to his looks. Ricky is Goth. I want to be goth but my mom won't let me, my mom blew her shit with my older brother, Angelo went goth and joined a metal band. She's against it. She loves Angelo and all, but, she is disapproving of his personality and looks. She didn't even want him playing drums, so, he bought his own set and taught himself to play. He's in the studio with his band, at the moment.
"I honestly don't know, Ricky. My brother is goth and in a metal band and she flipped her shit and kicked him out" I told him.
"Oh" he replied quietly.
"No opinion of my mom's is going to change how I feel about you, Richard" I assured him. He smiled.
"Babe, I'm gonna give you the biggest kiss when I see you" he told me. I honestly have never been kissed or have kissed anybody, but, I've had other boyfriends.
"Ricky! Mom said get off the damn computer!" A girl said as she walked into Ricky's room. That's his little sister, she's a little shit, she's fourteen.
"I gotta go baby, love you, see you tomorrow night" he said, blowing a kiss to the screen.
"Love you too, babe" I said before clicking off the call.

I went downstairs to let my mom know that Ricky was visiting and that I'm bringing him home for dinner.
"Mom, that guy that I've been talking to and dating is flying out here to visit me, he'll be here tomorrow night" I said.
"Fayleen, you know how I feel about you meeting with strangers. He could be a forty year old pedophile, for all you know" she reminded me.
"Mom, I've been dating him for six months, he's eighteen and I've had several Skype dates with him. I doubt he's forty" I said.
"Okay, but I still don't feel comfortable with this. I'll cook up chicken wings for dinner" she said. I smiled and went up to my room.
-Ricky's pov-
"Mom, I need to pack" I said.
"Richard, I don't think it's a good idea to visit a girl that you don't even know face to face" she said. I rolled my eyes at her use of my full name.
"Mom, it's my anniversary present to her, Skype dates aren't enough. I'm eighteen, I know what I'm doing" I said.
"How long have you two been dating? How old is she?" She asked.
"We've known each other for just over a year and have been dating for six months today, and she just turned seventeen a month ago" I said, as I buried a box of condoms in my suitcase. I'm not planning on getting down Fay's pants but it's better safe than sorry. I think she's waiting until she's eighteen to do stuff like that though.
"So, she's a year and a half younger than you?" She asked, I nodded as I continued to put clothes into my suitcase. I leave at five A.M. and I should get there by three P.M. pacific time, six P.M. eastern time.
"Honey, does her mother approve of her dating a stranger?" She asked.
"I don't know and I don't care because her mother's opinion of me will not change my love for her" I said.
"You really love her?" She asked.
"Of course mom, I wanna marry her, she's perfect in every way possible" I said.
"Don't propose too early, you'll scare her off" She giggled. Mother...
"I don't plan on it for a while" I chuckled.
"What does she look like?" She asked. I pulled a picture out of my wallet and handed it to her. Fay has icy blue eyes, mousy brown hair, and pouty lips. She's gorgeous inside and out. The little faces she does when I say something weird or perverted make my day. She loves it when I sing her songs and when I tell her how my day at work went or how school went. She cares about me and I'll never be able to find a girl that cares more than her.
"She's gorgeous, Ricky" she said.
"Thanks, mom" I said. I can't wait to meet my lady love.
