*(Hi guys here's the new update :) Swipe right to listen to this chapter's "theme song", especially during the conversation between Landon and Josie)

Before there was time to process everything that had just happened, Josie and Landon left the table, leaving their friends to finish their breakfast without them.
"What the hell just happened?" Asked Lizzie, seemingly very confused about Landon's unusually bold move.

Lizzie's POV
Okay she didn't leave because of me, right? I wasn't too harsh, right? I mean I was just being completely honest with her. Who is Penelope Park to make Josie hurt over and over again every time someone mentions her name, or to make her cry almost every night. For God's sake, Josie even still wears her clothes and every one in a while, she sleeps in her old room. I just hate seeing her like this. Even if she is difficult sometimes, she is still my sister, and I love her with all my heart, just the way she is. Okay FINE, maybe I was a little too harsh on her, but why did that thrift store HOBBIT Landon all of a sudden tell her to basically elope with him? Wait...no way! Does Mr. thrift store hobbit have a thing for my sister??
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Awkward silence filled the table as they finished their blueberry bagels and waffles. "Guys I'm sorry, but I have to go find Josie" uttered Lizzie. "I just can't stand the thought of her being mad at me again, I just need to clear this up with her really quickly", she continued. "Geez Lizzie, give Josie and her new bOyfRiEnd some space," joked MG. Everyone at the table couldn't help but laugh at that statement, everyone except Lizzie. Lizzie snapped, "I am Lizzie Saltzman I do what I want MG, if I want to help my sister I will!" And with that Lizzie left hurriedly and started to make her way though the Salvatore School, looking for Landon and Josie in every possible place she could think of.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Josie's POV
I just can't help it. No matter how hard I try, I cannot simply just forget about the simply wonderful, selfish, and prefect Penelope Park. It's always Penelope and it will always be her. Every time I hear her name, everything comes back to me: our dance, our late night conversations, and how could I ever forget...her goodbye. It seems to me that Landon can see that I'm hurting, and I'm so grateful that he stood up to Lizzie. I think I might have just cried right there, on the spot, into my breakfast plate. But now Landon and I are walking in the halls, and it seems like he is just as clueless as I am in terms of picking a place to sit. I can't help but realize how sweet he really is, going though all this just to help a friend like me. I don't want to see him suffer any longer, so I suggest going to the place I know best: my room. He hesitates at first, seeming to think about it, but he finally agrees.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Landon's POV
Did Josie seriously just suggest HER ROOM? Like of all the place in the world she could have chosen, she chose her room. We could have gone by the lake, by the fireplace, or even in the grass or something, but NO. Oh well, what can I do now, I already accepter her suggestion, and now we're entering her room. I am more anxious than I had expected, I really hope I don't mess this up...
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Landon and Josie enter the room, and Josie closes the door behind her. Immediately after the door is shut, she sits on her bed and uncontrollably starts crying. Landon sits next to her, trying his best to comfort her, but the tears just keep falling. "Josie it's going to be okay, I am here for you" says Landon and he holds her in his arms. Josie and Landon sit there for a good 5 minutes, comforting each other. Josie finally breaks the embrace, putting her face in her hands.

"You know Landon, I really loved her. I had hoped that we were going to be together one day, that one say we would finally be happy, but I guess I was just too scared to admit how I really felt about her. I should have told her how I felt. She did everything she could to try to tell me how she felt. Landon, she wrote me a love letter and she would always try to talk to me, but all I ever did was ignore her. It was what I thought was right at the time, but now, I regret it with all my heart. I can't help but think what could've been. Landon, it hurt like hell when she left. I felt like I wasn't enough. I wanted to be enough reason for her to stay...but I wasn't!"

"Josie, to me you are worth it. I have never met someone as selfless as you Josie, the way you care for Lizzie, the way you are so selfless towards others...it is so mesmerizing. You are the most beautiful person I know, both inside and out"

"Landon, you need to know that I'm not perfect I have flaws too and-"

"Josie you are perfect, just the way you are. Did Penelope at least explain why she did what she did?"

"She said something about a merge. Apparently she had given all of us spelled pens for Christmas..."

"Spelled?"

"Yeah, everything the pen writes is recorded in a special spy book. Here, let me get it"

"Oh shoot, I think I might have used that pen. To be fair, it's a really good-quality pen"

(Josie laughs at that remark as looks through her bookshelf, and after a minute, she finally pulls out a very large book.)

"I found it! Everything ever written down by the pens she gave everyone is in here," Josie tells Landon. They flip to the first page and see what seems to be none other than Alaric Saltzman's handwriting. "It's so weird that we can see all of other people's personal writings, it's weird yet cool and interesting," commented Landon. Josie and Landon spend a few minutes reading through Alaric's writing. Suddenly they come across an unfamiliar name. Josie suddenly asks Landon, "Who is Hope Mikaelson?"

*Yayyy this is the end of the chapter. Will Josie and Landon figure out who this Hope Mikaelson is? Is there a connection between them, or is Josie still deeply in love with Penelope? Remember Rafael, he's still a wolf until Hope gets back...or will they find another way to change him? We will have to wait and see! Please leave any comments or suggestions! Next chapter coming soon :)
