Emily was gonna send G a vine until Mr. Vasquez interrupted her.

Emily put her phone away in silence.

The class all looked up at the teacher as he was talking.
"Okay! So, thank you. We have a new student here today joining us in a few moments.. he should be on his way up to this classroom. So- be respectful towards him. He'll probably be very nervous an- and just very confused so, treat him with respect like I'm sure you ALL would appreciate yourselves if you were in his position. Okay? Okay!"

"Is it a girl or boy?"
asked a fellow student.

"Boy. I said him about like 6 times."
replied the teacher.
