I was sitting on Ratchets medic table reading a book while he worked on his computer. It was silent in base but we both enjoyed the peaceful silence we had together. Soon enough we heard the rev of an engine signaling that Jack and Arcee were back from their drive. "Well the silence was good while it lasted," Ratchet said looking at me with his newly replaced scowl. I only giggled as I saw Arcee pull into base with Jack and one additional person riding on the back. "We're back," Jack said taking off his helmet just like the person behind him revealing Jacks mom June Darby.
"Hello everyone," June said looking around base with a smile that faded when her eyes met mines. "Oh hello Y/N didn't see you sitting there," she said while replacing her smile with a clearly fake one. Ms. Darby never really liked me because she once had feelings for Ratchet but he didn't feel the same way. I never really talked to June but she always had to make her little side comments.
"How are you June," Ratchet said not looking away from his computer screen to make eye contact. "Fine actually, still working the late shifts at the hospital," she said stifling a yawn. "Mom I think you should go lay on the couch for a bit," Jack said trying to get his mother to rest. "Actually I think I would be comfortable on the medical table," June said looking at me with her icy blue eyes. I was about to protest but Ratchet politely asked me to get up from my spot on the medical table allowing June to lay down.
I only stared at them with hidden disbelief and sadness, I was starting to get a little jealous. 'Why did I have to give up my spot for her to lay down? Why did she wanna sleep on the medicals table ANYWAYS!?' I thought as I felt hot tears of anger enter my eyes. Before those tears could fall I quickly walked to the berthroom I shared with Ratchet slamming the door behind me.
"WHY DID I HAVE TO GET UP FOR THAT BITCH" I yelled pacing back in forward. "THAT STUPID AZADA (Hoe)" I yelled again falling face down on the bed. I laid there letting myself cool down a bit before feeling strong arms wrap around my waist and a kiss on the back of my head. "Go away" I groaned into my pillow. "Are you jealous?" Ratchet said almost laughing.
"Maybe ........... Maybe not" I said trying to ignore him. He quickly picked me up and turned me to face him. Before I could react to his sudden movements he smashed his lips onto mine, which I enjoyed. When he pulled away he lifted my chin making me look into his beautiful blue optics. "I love you and ONLY YOU," he said making me smile. "I love you too"
