Vicki Pov
I'm Victoria Perez-Watanabe but everyone calls me Vicki. I mean everyone except for one person, my father he lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He calls me by my full name which, he says, is Victoria Elena Perez. Like the Watanabe in me doesn't exist, I yell at him about it. But I'm turning 17 today, my best friends since I was younger are Mitsukuni Haninozuka aka Honey and his cousin Takashi Morinozuka aka Mori. I've always had a little crush on Honey, and I've always thought of Mori as an older brother. But I've kept my feelings hidden because Honey's probably already in an arranged marriage.
'Lady Vicki, it's time to go.' My maid, Ayako, says
'Okay give me a moment.' I say
*Downstairs*
'Good Morning and Happy Birthday, Vicki.' My mother, Aya Watanabe, says as I enter the dining hall
'Thank you, mama.' I say, 'I have a question.'
'What's troubling you dear?' She asks
'Can Mitsukuni and Takashi bring me home today? They aren't at the Host Club for long on certain days and today happens to be one of those days.' I say with hope in my eyes, 'But if you want me to come straight home I understand.'
'I've kept you away from hanging out with them and your friends. I'm sorry, if they need to stay later that's fine. I'll let their driver know, have fun today sweetie.' Mum says with her signature smile I haven't seen in forever
'Thank you, mama!' I say running over to hug her
'No problem, Vicki. Now hurry, you need to get going.' She says, 'Watari please get the car, to bring Vicki to school.'
'Yes, ma'am.' Watari, our butler says
*At Ouran*
I walk into my classroom, like always I'm one of the first people to enter. But everyone starts to enter, my friends give me small gifts that will fit in their school bags and the rest I get at a big party. The teacher is about to start the lesson when the classroom door is opened with a panicked chairman in the doorway.
'Mr. Suoh, is everything alright?' sensei asks
'I need Vicki Perez-Watanabe.' He says
I stand up and leave the classroom scared of what I did on my birthday. But Mr. Suoh reassures me that I did nothing wrong it's just a phone call and the person couldn't wait until classes let out.
'Hello?' I say picking up the phone
'Hello Victoria Elena Perez, Happy 17th birthday by the way.' A voice I recognise to be my father's says
'I swear to god if you call me by that name again, you'll be sorry. But whatever this is about couldn't it have waited till my classes to be over?' I ask
'No, it couldn't but you should be excited.' He says
'Oh I should be?' I ask
'Yup, you'll be picked up by a limo right after school and will be brought to the airport. Then you will-' He says
'Fuck no, I'm busy today. I can't I have things to do.' I say
'Your coming to Buenos Aires whether you like it or not.' He says
'Sure the fuck I am, Bastard!' I say ending the call by throwing the phone back on it's receiver I look at all the teachers with teary eyes and say, 'I'm very sorry for my actions this morning with the phone, if it's broken I'll buy a new one. If a limo arrives after school looking for me tell the driver I'm not here!'
