I groaned into my pillow as I recalled today's event. As I was muffling my groans into the pillow, I was also punching the living hell out of my bed. 

"WHY. DO. AXEL. HAVE. TO. BE. SO. GOOD. IN. EVERYTHING. HE. DID. HUH. WHY. IS.HE-" I interrupted my rant as I realised what on earth I was saying. 

Fack. Did I fall for him? Or nearly admitted that he is handsome, cute and h- Shut up, brain! NONONO! I CANNOT TO BE IN LOVE WITH THIS UGLY PIECE OF POOP!

"UGH!" I groaned in frustation as I laid on my bed. 

Then,a knock could be heard from my door. I sighed and mumbled a "Come in".

"Hey, sweetie. Are you alright?" My mother asked me as she peeped around my room.

"Yeah, mother, I'm fine. Why?" I questioned as I spread my arms and legs on my bed.

"I heard your screams and groans a while ago so I am wondering if you're okay." My mother said. 

"Oh." I responded.

"Alright. I need to get on with my work, alright? Call me if you need anything, sweetie." My mother said.

"Okay, thanks, mother. Goodbye and I love you." I smiled at her.

"Bye, sweetie. I love you too and good night." 

With that, my mother left my room and house. If you all could not guess it, my mother worked as a surgeon while my father worked as a gynaecologist in Melbourne Private Hospital which technically explained the absence of my parents in the house.

I sighed as I recalled the embarassing events that happened today all because of that one jerk. Axel Max Wang.

"I still think that your voice is... Erm.. Not bad, I guess." I said as I shrugged my shoulders. I could not bear to let my ego down no matter what.

"Seriously! This is all could you have said!" Ella sighed as she gestured to his face." Look at that face, Lilah! How could you say that right in front of that handsome face?"

"Pftt- He is not even hot at all!" I said as I crossed my arms grumpily.

"Since when did I mention him being hot in my sentence?" Ella raised an eyebrow at me and I gulped. I could feel that all of my friends' and Axel's stare bore at me. My cheeks burnt as my heart beated a little faster than usual. My pride and ego did not let me admit or even surrender to the jerk who is known as Axel. 

"OH MY GOD! LILAH THINKS THAT MY COUSIN IS HOT! I- SKKSIFJDSLKD!" Dawn fangirled as she covered her face after I could not respond to what Ella had said.

"THE DELILAH LINDSEY CHIN THINKS AXEL IS HOT! WOOHOO! THAT'S SOME TEA!" Ella smirked as she looked at her manicured fingers.

"I LOWKEY SHIP IT!" Helen smiled as she clapped her hands delighted. 

"So you think I am hot?" Axel questioned as he smirked at me. Pure hatred surged through my veins as I stared at his stupid yet hot face. 

"N-no. I-I-" I was interrupted by three of girls who I considered as my best friends.

"DELILAH, YOU NEED TO STOP DENYING! YOU LIKE HIM, DON'T YOU?" Dawn shrieked as Ella and Helen started to cat call and whistle at the back.

"NO! WHO THE HECK SAID I LIKE THIS NARICSSITC, SELF- OBSESSED AND INCONSIDERATE JERK! HE IS SO FULL OF HIMSELF THAT I COULD NOT STAND HIM!" I yelled. 

"Alright, girl. Chill down!" Ella said as she walked over and put her hands on my shoulders. "Now, now, we do not want to make a scene here, right? So take a deep breath and calm yourself down before you burst, okay?" 

I did as what as Ella advised and started to calm myself down by taking  deep breath and steadied myself.

"I do not like Axel and I will never ever and ever fall for guys like him. Now, get your stupid hopes of us being together out of your heads before I slap all of you. Plus, he is nothing like any other boys anyway." I said as I glared at them. They had a frightened expression on their faces as they looked down and muttered a "sorry".

"I still think that you're lying, Delilah." Axel smirked at me as Dawn tugged on his sleeve of his gray turtleneck, hoping he could get a hint before he could make me explode. However that jerk did not get a hint of what his cousin was trying to warn him, and continued to provoke me.

"Admit it. You think that I am hot. I am handsome or anything nice in your little mind, Then, I will back the hell off. So what do ya say, Miss Chin?" Axel smirked as he made me getting even more pissed off. I wished I could wipe that smirk off of his stupid handsome face.

"No, you're not and please accept the fact that you're not even handsome and hot or anything at all! You're just as worthless and useless as the piece of trash!" I said as my eyes glared at him.

"Oh please. Delilah, how many times did you space out when I talked to you yesterday?" Axel said. 

That statement was my last straw as Dawn, Ella and Helen shrieked and were nearly dying because they were shipping both of us so badly to the point that they might get cardiac arrest at some point. I did not think that he will notice this during our conversation yesterday. 

"YOU! I- YOU SHOULD GO LOOK AT THE MIRROR TO SEE HOW UGLY YOU ARE, YOU IMBECILE! I-"I exploded. 

"You- what? Want to kiss me on the lips? That's fine with me." Axel smirked as my cheeks flushed brightly and my fists tightened, trying to control my dear self before strangling this idiot's neck.
