an expensive, high class car pulled into the parking lot of the school.

saturday detention

lizzie thoughts began brewing with anger as she thought it was completely unacceptable, absurd per say that she must be at school on a saturday

her father reassured her thoughts, the pretty girl cut him off as she reached for her bag and opened the car door as she began walking towards the stairs of her dreaded destination.

shortly after a affordable more middle class car pulled in to show ashton irwin being lectured by his mother

"now you get in there and study!" she screamed at him, it being. the only words the curly headed boy could understand.

"it's detention we can't study" ashton mumbled but loud enough for he woman to hear

"find a way to" she added with a incredibly stern tone as she pointed to the building, the boy opened the car door and walked inside the school.

another car pulled in not to long after as it showed calum and his mother. calum and his mother did not discuss one word to each other.

it was almost synchronized

as soon as the car parked, he was out of it.

the 3 teenagers were inside the library room not speaking a word and strictly looking around the room

a few minutes later connie walked through the doors, head low, quiet as a mouse

and even longer minutes later luke walked into the room of course making a scene

picking up random items on the counter, tearing pages from a notepad and stealing an unknown object

the 5 kids sat down at tables. luke at one, ashton at one, connie at one and lizzie and calum sharing a desk

all most immediately after they were settled there cruel, hate-filled, disgusting, rude and what other terrible traits a human could have biology teacher walked in the room, Mr. Belmont.

Mr. Belmont stood in front of the class.

almost on cue lizzie raised her hand and said "sir i think there must have been a mistake, i mean i know it's detention but i don't think i belong here" earning groans and eye rolls from luke and calum

Mr. Belmont began giving a speech on there rules they must follow. none of them were listening except for maybe ashton but he most likely drew a blank at moments.

the only rule that caught everyone's attention was

"you must write an essay, no less than 1,000 words explaining to me who you think you are" the teacher explained
